Living the Lindian Dream!
We have just returned from an incredibly special holiday at the Lindian Dream Seaside Resort in Rhodes and we are already planning another visit.
The hotel has an amazing, tranquil location, right on its own small, private beach, making it an ideal haven for relaxation. It is easy to explore the local area and the resort is situated right between Lindos and Pefkos. A taxi ride to either town only takes about five minutes and costs a very reasonable €10. We did see bus stops and apparently, it is possible to walk to Lindos, but it was so hot that we did not try.
The outdoor facilities are real highlight. The resort features a large swimming pool, with warm water and plenty of space for everyone to swim/chill with a book. Best of all, there are absolutely no ‘sunbed wars’ here. There were plenty of loungers for everyone, both by the pool and on the private beach, completely eliminating any morning stress. There are even cabanas on the beach, which are free to use. Guests took full advantage of late breakfasts served until 11am and there were always empty beds, no matter what time we arrived at the pool. This made such a difference and made our holiday so much more relaxing.
We looked forward to the buffet breakfast every morning, which had something for everyone, including eggs cooked to order on request. The staff were very warm and welcoming and the restaurant manager did a great job, circulating and greeting everyone. Special thanks to the lovely waiters who brought delicious fresh orange juice and coffee to our table with smiles and a friendly chat.
The main restaurant, ‘Navarone’ offers a set menu every day, with several options and the beach bar transforms to an a la carte restaurant in the evening, with views that cannot be beaten. Prices are very reasonable.
There are two great bars, serving delicious cocktails and perfectly chilled beer/wine. We enjoyed the beach bar in the afternoons and after our evening meals, the more formal bar offered a great spot to enjoy a nightcap, listening to the waves lapping against the beach. There is no animation team (which suited us), but there was live music on a couple of the evenings.
The hotel has a spa, with reasonably priced treatments and a small gym. We came with good intentions, but as the small space was not air conditioned, it was simply too hot to use. This might be something for the management to consider, particularly as there are large social spaces with a ping pong table, billiards and table football, so plenty of room for a bigger gym better suited to the adult-only clientele.
As other reviews highlight, the bedrooms are a little dated. However, they are perfectly adequate, exceptionally clean, and come with two major plus points: fantastic, powerful showers and great air conditioning, essential for the Rhodes heat. We had dressing gowns, slippers and a free safe, together with a small ‘fridge, which was filled with a bottle of mineral water each day.
What truly elevates this resort though, is the staff. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The service across the entire hotel was fantastic and everyone works incredibly hard to ensure hotel guests have the best possible experience. We also really appreciated the lovely little gifts left for us, such as a bottle of wine on arrival and chocolates. These thoughtful details made us feel genuinely valued.
A huge thank you to all the staff at Lindian Dream for giving us such a memorable and rejuvenating holiday. We would definitely recommend this wonderful spot to anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday and we can’t wait to return.

June stay returning Mitsis guests
June stay, sorry for the late review.
We holidayed at the 'LIndian seaside resort' for two weeks in June.
having holidayed many times here when it was the 'Mitsis Lindos memories', we returned with some reservations, as it was such a perfect holiday escape when a Mitsis hotel...It had alot to live up to.
We were delayed so arrived very late in the early hours, but on arrival it was so lovely to be back, the building as always still stunning, an air of calm and peaceful the tranquility was still there....
We had requested a particular room, we had stayed in before, Room 503 sea view, and thankyou, we were allocated it.
A bottle of Prosecco and fruit platter waiting for us, again a lovely touch.
waking up to the beautiful view of the pool and beach was like coming home.
Breakfast we found, is now served on the veranda, and the sun shades pulled down so obliterated the view sadly , we realise this was because of the full sun, we were saddened that breakfast was no longer served around the corner on the side terrace, which is shaded and has lovely morning views over the terrain of Navarone bay
Breakfast is very basic limited , especially for a 5* hotel, no live cook to order egg/omelette station etc, no fizz or extra touches ie, fresh honeycomb etc., everything is pre prepared....paper napkins very basic, very disappointing . staff unsure of themselves, unsmiling and lacking professionalism ...
But !
We had the best surprise, for anyone who is a past guest from the Mitsis days , we turned around and our dear friend Xhristos hurried over to greet us, (impeccably turned out as always, far smarter than any other staff member in the hotel) he had returned just 2 days previously as food & beverage manger, he truly made our holiday, thank you our friend....
I have to say in the 14 days we were there he truly worked his magic & professionalism and trained, encouraged and guided his staff to a whole new level...
back were fabric napkins, the correct glasses served with the appropriate wines, the evening meal turned into a more pleasurable dining experience, some evenings there was a singer or violinist serenading from down by the pool as we dined, lovely.
with a few further improvements- offerings, I'm sure more people would choose 1/2 board once again....
Anna who is so lovely, under xristos's direction,gained confidence in herself and took on a new level of professionalism, she started to smile, to engage with guests, her whole face lights up when she smiles and was a joy to get to know...thank you Anna for everything.
The first week the hotel seemed understaffed and under trained , the 2nd week we were there it was only at 50% capacity, which enabled them all to cope better, service improved.
The pool and beach area is just as beautiful as ever, and no-one dashed down to claim sunbeds, which was wonderful,
Sadly they are using old Mitsis beach towels some.of them with the logo cut off and stitched!
But the service was perfect and Aakis is also an asset to the hotel, so friendly and attentive, a knowledgable young man, again thank you.
The once lovely pagoda seating area overlooking the beach is no longer in use, which was so lovely to sit and have an evening drink there gazing out at sea...the wicker sofas are separated and plonked elsewhere with no cushions on just left bare...
The second week they started doing massages there, but could do with perhaps sheer curtains for privacy...
The taverna, is now open as an al a carte in the evening and no longer closes at 6pm,
which is lovely,
During the day the staff behind the bar here were also so lovely and friendly.
but food wise, most choices at lunchtime were full on meals and lacking 'greek 'food choices,
no small plates, to form a meze, ie hummus, pitta breads calamari etc, l no light bites...
Sadly the mini bars in the rooms are empty!?, again even if payable, we have never encountered this in a 4* hotel, let alone 5* hotel.
bottled water is provided fresh every day, and little chocolates left in the evening and again some evenings we had wine left too, again thankyou.
Housekeeping were thorough and friendly, thank you.
The shop is severely understocked, empty shelves mainly selling water and ice creams, but again the lady serving is lovely.
Thehotel building is just as lovely as ever, but sadly the beautiful water fountain which was always full of water and flowers previously, a stunning feature as you walk through is left empty,
Jonny in the bar on an evening was so lovely, friendly although service was slow despite it being quiet.
Drinks are also overpriced , basic house wine 35 euros, gin & tonic were charged for separately , depending what gin between 12-15 euro and tonic charged on top! more guests I feel sure would drink here if this was addressed?
Kindly the manager gave us another room with her compliments, on our last day as we had a late evening flight, thank you so much.
Ive tried to give a balanced review and realise that the hotel is under different management now, and has a lot to live up to, especially if like us you are a returning Mitsis guests.
I have to say the service and quality of our stay improved over the two weeks, Xristos, we feel should be promoted to assistant manager and given free reign to move the hotel forward... with a bit more attention to detail the Indian dreams will be a true 5*. hotel
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and would say to former guests, go you won't be disappointed, the magic of the place is still there, thank you for our stay and we will be back.

Worry-free Professional Naverone Paradise
Where do I start…After not a lot of sleep on the first day we started our holiday with a bang, quite literally with the hire car, having to fork out for the excess. Tired and my wallet feeling light, we got a taxi to Lindian Dream. After an initial room move, we settled in for the night genuinely debating flying home because we felt so depressed about our first day.
We decided to stay and it was the best decision me and my wife have made for a long time. I wanted to personally thank the staff we had the most interactions with. Because truly…this is the best hotel we have stayed in, probably ever, thanks to the staff and the incredibly beautiful location.
Miss Anna and Christos’s team (to name a few);
- Olya: Thank you very much for helping us with our many things whenever we came to reception. From organising a late checkout due to our lack of hire car to getting a pack of cigarettes delivered to me on the beach, you were amazing and so professional. I sorry you were the first person we saw when we arrived at Lindian Dream, but you started off our great experience.
- Maria: You noticed me holding my birthday candles on the way back from breakfast past reception and incredibly when we came back to our room a whole birthday cake and bottle of Prosecco were waiting for us in our room!!! Unknown to be you had organised this and I was so amazed and thankful. You were so friendly and we loved seeing your smile every time.
- Diamantis: Without your helping hand and professional spirit the hotel would weaker without you, carry on the great work. We will look forward to meeting your mother when we get married in St Paul’s Bay!
- Silvana: I hope you saw my note I left House Keeping in our room! Some of the hardest working people are the ones you hardly see sometimes, and when we did see Silvana she was always so positive and friendly. Thank you for everyday of your hard work.
- Akkis: The humble pool boy on a working summer break from studying Business Administration in Latvia, from India! What an incredible story. Thank you for your service with a smile and it was a pleasure to meet you.
Last but not least; Miss Anna & Christos. You are the leaders of this amazing team and the ones responsible for how well this Hotel is managed and the reason the team are so professional and their standards are so high.
The ONLY thing I have a suggestion about is a bot of an update to the rooms furniture, but that’s just me being picky. ;)
If you are reading into this hotel, seriously consider it. Its location is perfect, the rooms sizes and views are great and if this review hasn’t explained enough already, the staff are fantastic and really embody the Greek hospitality and friendliness you hear about.

A place to come back to
A fantastic resort in a scenic location. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and there was a good selection for lunch. There were several restaurants, including a fine-dining option that we really enjoyed.
The staff were friendly and helpful overall, but Maria at the front desk and Mikes in the restaurant were in a league of their own—it’s wonderful to meet people who always go above and beyond to take care of their guests

To be honest- the room is not what I would expect for a five star hotel room. The bathroom smells and super tiny, the toilet led doesn’t fit the toilet, the curtain doesn’t have the dark lager and the room is bright already at 7am, we can hear neighbors shower, flash the toilet and drag the chair etc…. the partially sea view means that you need to go to the balcony and stick your head outside of the balcony to see the sea….so don’t bother to pay extra for the partial sea view.
Breakfast is however quite nice, as well as the staffs. And the beach is very beautiful.
All public area looks like 5 star, but the room is very outdated, like a 3 star.
So all in all, I wouldn’t come back.
