Definitely is not a 4 star.. 2/3 star at max.
Cheap and close to the centre, but that’s about the only good thing. When we arrived, the male staff member watched us struggle up many stairs with heavy suitcases and didn’t offer to help. The room floor hadn’t been cleaned — sand everywhere and hair in the shower from the last guests.When our toilet paper ran out, we asked for more and were told to go buy our own. The listing says “air conditioning included” but it’s actually $8 a day. We didn’t pay and spent a week uncomfortably hot. My friend asked for a clean towel and was refused. One night, a male staff member wrongly accused her of not being a guest, shouted at her, and threatened to call the police, very unsettling.
Beds are rock-hard, the kitchen barely has utensils for a “self-catering” place, and the food is awful aka my tomato soup was green and tasted mouldy. Female staff are extremely patronising yet were overly friendly to the teenage boys staying there, not surprising.
Only stay here if you need somewhere cheap to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness or basic hospitality because the staff clearly don’t care either.

NON-TRANSPARENT AND INCORRECT STAFF
They force you to pay extra services that are not due and already included in the total payment: Air Conditioning (8€/day) and Cassa Forte (2€/day). Also the tourist tax, clearly included in the Booking payment, was included and we were charged twice, without receipt. I read in the reviews that mine is not the first case: apparently they are being clever. For these services you can get a refund, as the consumer is right and also according to Booking Customer Service there is an irregularity.
PAYMENTS UNCLEAR
The extra services mentioned above, invite you to pay them in cash, evidently not to pay taxes. The excuse was the POS not working. After insisting on paying by card, a working POS magically popped up hidden under the counter.

Basic room. The kitchenette, if you can call it that, is made of only one electric stove, not enough. Toilet paper, and the necessary for washing dishes must be bought by the customer.

Booking.com confirmed that the customer is right and acknowledged the irregularity, making refunds possible.

Experience to forget, a nightmare!!
Really disappointing stay. The first assigned room was in a basement, with air conditioning for a fee and virtually non-existent cleaning. After asking for the change, we were given a second room, but the situation did not improve: small, dirty, absolutely unsuitable for 4 people.
The shower with an old and uncomfortable curtain, the noisy toilet and the total lack of daily cleaning made the stay a real nightmare. It looks more like a hovel than a hotel. Too bad, because it would take little to improve, but at present I would not recommend it to anyone.

Terrible experience!!
Holiday ruined by a structure that define disappointing is little. Non-existent cleaning: dust, hair and dirt everywhere. The room? Small, sad and badly maintained, absolutely unsuitable for 4 people. The bathroom, then, a nightmare: old, battered and decidedly unhygienic.
The promised “services” simply do not exist. We even changed rooms hoping for an improvement... but it was the same story, if not worse.
Not recommended without hesitation: in Greece there is much better for the same price (or even less).

Abismal
Me and my girlfriend just finished our holiday at Theoni apartments, and all we can say about the rooms is that they are abismal, we came into to our "apartment" and found that we had no toilet seat and no remote for the AC, after asking the staff they told us that it would cost us 56 euro for the week to use the AC even thou on the booking it says this is included with the room. as for our toilet seat the staff said that it will be sorted monday, this was never sorted after asking for a second time we was practically told to suck it up and crack on. the only decent parts of this apartment/hotel is the pool to some degree, and the fridge being the only thing fully intact and working.
