Weekend in Mykonos
I stayed in this guest house for a weekend in Mykonos.
The room was comfortable and in a good location. They did the cleaning and provided the towels every day. At our arrival (a little before the standard check-in) the room was not ready yet so they allow us to have another room where to keep our luggage and to change. Staff was kind and helpful.
I would recommend it.

Small but perfect…. And 5 star location
This place was perfect … clean, recently decorated, and located perfectly… we stayed for one night whilst waiting for the ferry so it was just right … could do a few days here but not a week no pool etc.. there is a lovely quaint balcony however … would return

Small room but super clean and very well situated!
If there is something not to miss in Mykonos , it’s certainly the Mykonos town and at Ioannas House you will be just a few walks away ! Yes the room is very small and basic but very clean and with all amenities; small fridge , very good and comfortable bed , free coffee , kettle , hair dryer , a/c and daily cleaning ! The owner was very helpful and responsive. This was the perfect place to be , right in Mykonos town ,for the breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping , bars. No parking available like for most of the rooms in the region , the parking is a big issue and get ready to walk from the main road through the steep stairs of the town to access Ioannas rooms. It might be a bloody labyrinth for the non-initiated but whatever , this was so authentic & fun to have to walk through these narrow streets with our luggages and trying to find our way. But there are signposts here and there and with Google map you will easily find the place. Highly recommended if you only need a room to sleep and enjoy the island and Mykonos town day and night life.

Great location and communication!
Ioanna was great and very communicative and accessible. She accommodated our arrival and left the room ready for us to easily enter.
The location was perfect being close to both the bus stop, ferry, and taxi station. Very easy to walk and get around!
When arriving, you do have to walk down stairs and not directly to the home.
The room was very very clean, AC, WiFi, and everything else we needed! It was perfect for my short stay on the island.
Price was very reasonable compared to others in the area.

You’ll love the location
If arriving by ferry, catch the land bus or sea bus from the new port to the old port. From Old Port walk to Manto Square (approx 5 mins). Look straight ahead at the buildings and look for the “Stairs” Cafe @54 ClubLounge, take the stairs on the right and you will find Ioannas. It’s close to the Chora, yet far enough to allow you peace and privacy.
When we arrived Ioanna was busy preparing a room, she greeted us warmly and explained one of the two rooms were ready. We were able to leave our bags to go stick beak Mykonos. This was the only time we saw Ioanna, all further contact was either via text message or short handwritten note to sign our bill.
Our balcony room was upstairs boasting a modern, fresh outlook with neutral tones, presenting with a small but ample space for two. There were slight sea views across roof tops and impressive evening sunset.
The second room was at street level and catered for four people, though we booked for two. This room was far more spacious, even with two double beds.
One of the beds were not prepared with clean sheets on our first evening and unfortunately we did not realise this till after a late night out. I messaged Ioanna the next morning and sheets were provided.
Both rooms:
Functioning air conditioning which was refreshing to escape the hot days.
Coffee machines with pods and tea making facilities.
Two water bottles are provided on arrival, guests can then purchase their own.
Modern bathroom facilities. Note the showers are the tiniest I have ever encountered and the shower curtain is quite painful because its permanently stuck to you when showering and the entire bathroom gets wet, so its actually quite useless.
The walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything, including when someone coughs in the next room, conversations in stairwells etc. If you are a light sleeper as I am this can be a little deterring.
Within easy walking distance and literally 5 mins to all of the following.
Little Venice
The Windmills
Churches
Restaurants, Cafes, Bars.
Mini Markets
Bakeries
Matogianni Street
Night clubs
Shopping
Bus stop
Rental Car/ATV/Motorbike agencies
