LOVE Stellas!
Hotel Stella, formerly called Stella’s apartments is beautiful complex right across from the beach. There are tavernas on either side but our favorite was Manolis. We stayed here twenty years ago and Stella is as welcoming now as she was then. They serve an amazing breakfast. Fresh fruit, savory Greek pastries, eggs, fresh bread, homemade jam (bitter orange, quince, fig, strawberry, orange, and lemon to name a few) and of course delicious Greek yogurt. There is a beautiful and bountiful assortment of sweet pastries but as I’m not a fan of sweets in the morning I didn’t try any but they looked amazing.
We stayed in room 207 with a lovely sunset view from our balcony. It’s a small simple room but it’s all you need, a refrigerator, a comfy bed, and a shower that isn’t a trickle and the sweet little balcony. All of Stella’s staff is helpful and friendly. The bus stops right out front to take you into Chora for a beautiful day of getting lost in the narrow pedestrian lanes. Umbrellas and sun beds are available for an extra cost but if you want one I suggest putting towels down early as they fill up fast. There is a pool which kids were enjoying all day but we didn’t. It was the ocean for us! Stellas a perfect place to enjoy Naxos and you can't beat the price!

Fantastic Hotel & staff !
Great location, bars,tavernas, restaurants within walking distance. Opposite own stretch of beach, Plaka beach is fantastic!
Hotel exceeded our expectations, photos do not do justice to how beautiful the setting is.
Great pool area & bar, rooms spacious & comfortable, very good breakfast.
All of the staff/people here are very friendly & helpful.
We booked directly with the Hotel and had good communication through out, even arranged transfer from the port.
We would definatley recommend this hotel and plan to return in the future.

A wonderful, laid back time at Stella Naxos Island
My husband and I and our two adult daughters stayed for four nights the beginning of July. Stella is located on the quiet north end of Plaka Beach, right after Paradiso Taverna, the famous one with the tables and chairs set up for dining on the beach under the big tree. Agia Anna is a quick 12-15 minute walk to the north. Many restaurants there - we had a wonderful dinner at Palatia. There is a great little supermarket a few steps away heading south, as well as ATM machines and the Maragas Beach bus ticket office. The bus to Naxos town stops at that ticket office as well as at Paradiso Taverna, so only 1 or 2 minutes away. There are also many restaurants heading south on Plaka Beach. We ate at Yazoo Summer Bliss and Yucca - both were wonderful. The beach is just stunning - beautiful clear water, nice sand. There are sun-beds to rent if you so desire (30 Euros a day for 2 beds and umbrella - pay at the pool bar). The well-kept landscaped grounds are beautiful with walkways filled with gorgeous flowers and shrubs, and a playground for children (we did not see any kids during our stay). There is a huge well-kept pool (which we did not use) and a great pool bar with many lounge chairs. Our rooms were simple but lovely, with everything we needed. Very clean - housekeeping does a great job. The beds were a bit hard, but they will happily provide a mattress pad if requested. Both of our rooms had issues with the air conditioning not working, but the staff got right on it and after a few hiccoughs, it was fine. The buffet breakfast, overseen by Stella, was fabulous, with all kinds of delicious homemade dishes, baked goods, and jams. There is a lovely covered outdoor area where you eat breakfast. They will send out laundry for you and it comes back beautifully clean and folded the next day (12 Euros a bag). They will also call a taxi for you. Stella's daughter Marianna is in charge of the front desk and was also the contact for reservations and info. prior to our visit, and her son (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), took care of that air conditioning problem I mentioned. They were all very kind and welcoming and provided outstanding service. We had a wonderfully relaxing four days after being in busy Athens - it was just what we needed. Thank you Stella, Marianna, Stella's son, and the whole staff for your hospitality and a beautiful stay that we will treasure always. We would love to stay with you again! I have included pictures of the grounds, the beach, the breakfast, and our room with its view to the beach.

Top hotel!
Very beautiful hotel. Perfect pool and bar with super friendly bartender. Room clean . Staff super friendly and helpful. Right next to the sea. What could you wish for more. Busstop to prokopios, Chora, in front of hotel ever half an hour. Would come back here for sure...

For me, the best little hotel on Naxos, right on the plaza and between my two favorite taverns, Manolis and Paradiso.
Mrs. Stella and her daughter Marianna are incredibly attentive and very warm hosts, you immediately feel at home.
The greatest luxury here is that there is no unnecessary frills and the charm of a small guesthouse is still there; the rooms are always spotlessly clean, the breakfast is fantastic (thanks, Donna!), the garden is enchanting, I never used the very nice pool because the sea is just there?
I'm already looking forward to next year!
