Perfect peaceful accommodation if you plan to be based near Rethymnos
Honestly where do I start; for context I am 7 months pregnant and was looking for somewhere chill for my sister & I to experience Crete for the first time.
We settled on Theasea as it looked clean, modern and the pool was a plus. We received so much more, the accommodation and rooms are even better than described and better than the photos.
The interior is so thoughtful, you can unpack and feel like home immediately. We got the Family Suite with a view and it was perfect.
If you wanted to cook you can as you have everything and more for what you need, utensils, oil, salt etc and a fridge also.
The breakfast included was amazing and the highlight for us that it was brought to your room at your chosen time in the morning. We loved this experience. Breakfast was always fresh and there is a perfect variety if you want to eat healthy or have a sweet snack.
The location is peaceful and quiet, the pool and sunbeds and umbrella also gorgeous to use and spend a day in.
There is on site parking (gravel) right next to the building, you can see your car and it’s safe.
The surrounding area has a few markets that all work until late in the summer, a few coffee places and food and snacks to buy.
We found it to be a perfect peaceful base to explore closer to Rethymnos (25 mins drive). It was perfect and MORE for everything I needed this last holiday to be before the birth of my baby.
Maria is the manager and honestly goes above and beyond. We spent a lot of time at the accommodation by the pool and Maria was always active and doing something, you can feel how much she cares and is accross every detail.
If we ever needed anything, she responded instantly and even helped us call a pharmacy once to check the opening time.
My sister and I run a business, we look at things through a different lens and could immediately see that this was a family run business which is what I am always happy to support.
I can’t want to be back again, and I know exactly where I will be staying. Maria and team, thank you and we can’t wait to see you again!

Unreal experience !
One of the best experiences we have had. Maria and the team at Theasea made us feel at home our whole stay there.
The rooms are so modern, cleaned every day, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed there. The small pool came in so handy as it was hot and we could use the pool every day.
Highly recommend the daily breakfast that they deliver to your room and your chosen time: a vast variety of things to choose from as well.
Great location and walkable to the small town and supermarkets close by. Beach is also a small walk away.
However, the biggest highlight of this experience was Maria. She answered every request instantly and went above and beyond for us in everything we needed. Calling a nearby pharmacy to check it was open for us, always having a smile on her face and making us feel so welcome.

The room was comfortable and there is free parking.
Walkable distance to the center of Panormos.
A little bit noisy at night, some repetitive noise that I couldn't identify the source.

Very nice apartments, modern, new, comfortable, well equipped. Friendly staff with uncomplicated early checkin. Big pool, walking distance to the beach/ sea

Amazing family vacation in Theasea !!!!
We had an amazing experience at this small hotel at Panormos . From day one - friendly stuff, polite and accommodating. The room was very clean , the building is quite new, all amenities were great. For us the access close to the main road was important - as we wanted to explore some sites close by. The pool was clean and generally the area very quiet ( for us very important). We will visit again !!!
