Excellent staff, great location and very homely
What a pleasure to stay in this hotel! Mary was absolutely delightful- she was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to answer all our queries. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a very homely vibe.
The location is perfect, there is a bus stop opposite the hotel which connects to Fira. The beach is a short stroll away, as are plenty of restaurants, bars, bakery and a supermarket.
Great value for money and would definitely come back again!

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED
I booked the room on booking.com requesting late arrival and a week prior to our arrival I got a message saying the hotel could not accommodate my request !!! I had to call several times ( international call Canada-Greece) and talk to the manager to make sure we would have a room to spend the night.
The room was very small, no space to walk around, one person had to sit on the bed for the other to get ready, the beds quite small and uncomfortable,pillows, mattresses, towels old , the bathroom tiny and the kitchenette barely had any utensils !!! There was a nice balcony but no privacy !!! The people across and next to us were in our face !!! And the room faced the east which meant that without an awning it was impossible to sit there during the day !!!
They only provided toiletries every second day which wasn't enough !!! They came to clean our room on the second day while we were sleeping...they woke us up several times that day, only to tell us that they can't wait till we go, therefore they will clean the room on the 4th day !!!!
We stayed for a week and on the last night night when we went to pay they claimed their bank machine (POS) was out of order and we had to pay cash !!!! The owner was not the friendly type at all and didn't want to cooperate....disappointing experience !!!

really nothing to write home about
we arrived in july for a weeks stay. the double room was very cramped, the shower just as small with a faulty shower rose, the wash basin situated so that while you're you're using it your back is pressing hard against the door handle. room service was only once for the whole stay.
owner not very friendly and that tiring walk back from the beach pretty much made for a very unpleasant week.

rude and agressive owner
Upon arrival he gave us a different room to the one with reserved. We asked for the room we reserved but, instead of trying to find a solution,the owner raised his voice at us and had a "take it or leave it" attitude. When we asked for some time to think he got even angrier, showed us the room we reserved and kicked us out screaming. The worst experience in my entire life I have had with a hotel. Stay away or be ready for some abuse if the owner is having a bad day.

Friendly, tidy, nice view
We spent 5 nights at Adonis. We were very happy to have chosen Kamari as our base for exploring the island, as it's not as busy as Fira or Oia. It's the best location for a rather quiet stay in Santorini. With a scooter or bus, everything else is less than an hour away.
The room was very clean, and was cleaned daily. We had room number 12, with a beautiful view on the mountain and the sea in front. The room has a fine bed, a fridge, air conditioning, a small safe for valuables and a bathroom with a simple shower.
In just a few minutes walk you are on the boulevard of Kamari, with all the restaurants and beaches.
Our host was the most friendly ever. A taxi was arranged for us when we arrived at the airport.
We spent most of our days outside, but it was always lovely to come back to our little room, drinking a cold beer on our terrace, overseeing Kamari.
