Beautiful property but with service not up to a 5-star standard
The property is truly splendid: enchanting location, breathtaking panorama, and a view that alone is worth the stay. The outdoor spaces are also very well-kept and the terrace of our room, for which we had paid for an upgrade, was wonderful, with a splendid hot tub and a truly spectacular view.
Unfortunately, however, the experience was compromised by several aspects that are absolutely not up to the standard of a five-star hotel.
The main disappointment was the room's bathroom, completely different from the one shown in the website's photographs. The pictures showed an elegant marble bathroom, while the one assigned to us was concrete, with decidedly modest finishes. The shower was extremely uncomfortable: it lacked a fixed showerhead and there was only a handheld shower, making it difficult even to take a normal shower or wash one's hair.
Another serious shortcoming was the absence of a real closet or even just a simple coat rack: we were forced to leave all our clothes in our suitcases for the entire duration of our stay.
The service also did not prove to be adequate for the hotel's category. Breakfast was almost completely self-service: we had to get our own cups, pitchers, and everything necessary. Furthermore, the selection was not particularly wide and the overall quality was average, with nothing memorable.
Dinner was another sore point: for seven days the menu remained practically unchanged, with a total absence of fish dishes. The dining room service also appeared rather neglected: tables set with placemats that were not always perfectly clean and simple paper napkins, details that one certainly does not expect in a facility of this level.
The cleanliness of the room, while acceptable, was also never impeccable.
The only real positive note, besides the beauty of the property and the location, was the great courtesy and helpfulness of the two young women at the reception, always smiling and ready to help us.
In conclusion, it is a hotel with enormous potential thanks to the location and the property, but the level of service, rooms, and dining needs a decided improvement to be truly considered a five-star hotel.

Breakfast, greeted by a non-chalent person, dirty table (we had to ask for a cleaning) mediocre buffet worthy of a 2 star in France, very bad experience with booking
