The hotel sits opposite to a picturesque volcanic landscape that supports thriving life, while tourists daily hike its trails to reach what lies atop, hidden between blankets of cotton clouds.
From your room you witness the splendourous top of the highest peak; you embrace the perfect view of the ancient Prohpet Ellias Monastery. Every room surrenders to that artistic landscapes, fresh air, warm sun and a rustic silence that is not deafening but relaxing. The guests flow is continuous.

The family blends in with their staff and this ensures that guests receives Premium service beyond expectation! What they do, must be copywrited. The family is the patent to the existence of this business (not the other way around). They dedicate time, attention to detail and love to ensure that evey box is checked. Margarenia is a blessed togetherness! The owner had reseached, listened and produced far and above the normal. He offers 'his home' to be 'your home'.

This gentleman, quiet in nature, guards ambition but holds no recipe secrets. He often inquires of your needs or just pops over to the pool a fews times a day to open or close your umbrella.
His effortless need ensures his guests are comfortable and happy. I admire the equal attention he imparts to every guest.
And this is what qualifies Margarenia's success with eyes to detail and precision to deliver!
Rooms are cleaned on time and replenished. Even the kind gentlemen (owner) attends to your daily breakfast provisions: consistenly refreshing the delicious and multiple buffets and tidying up after his guests.
His daughter, an extension to the business mind is a delightful, helpful young lady that cups the genes of her father. Meticulously detailed and oriented; always smiling and welcoming. She has warmth and enjoys what she does.
Their dedication to consistency reflects in the beauty of the garden, proudly maintained by the hands of owner. Each time you walk in or out of the gates, the garden greats you with a warm 'Welcome'

My inner child was awakened at Margarenia. I was at 'Home' and 'Home' reached me. It's not about the ranking, it's about people, the ones who take that unexplainable path to make others happy; by just doing what they love best and can do in their best...and that is good enough for me.✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Exceptional property, as is the staff.
New and designer property, there are a few small imperfections and breakfast could be a little more refined.
For the rest, we recommend the property and the staff is absolutely adorable.

Relaxing week for a couple exploring Santorini.
Very warm welcome followed by useful instructions on the best restaurants, where to get the local buses, where to go to have the best time.(Great local restaurants a 10 minute walk down one road from the hotel)
Plus was given a map as we wanted to do the walk from Fira to Oia.
The room was traditional and lovely! Really comfortable bed, clean towels every day, and the best shower I’ve used in a long long time :)
The breakfast’s are absolutely delicious, well laid out, great coffee, and different sweet treats every day.
Also if you fancy an ice cold beer there’s a small bar by the pool, nothing is too much for Angela.
Prices reasonable also.
Had the best time and if I was to return to Santorini I’d definitely come back and stay once again.
