Nautilus Apartments

Great location, clean, cool and comfortable room with seaview balcony, lovely hosts
This was the 3rd time we've stayed at the Nautilus, enjoyed our previous stays but this room was the best so far. Sadly I forgot to take any room pictures... As with previous years, the room was clean and comfortable, with towels (good quality and fluffy) changed every other day, bedding every 4.
On arrival we found a tray of fresh fruit in the fridge and some bottled water, very welcome! Last year we were given a couple of watermelons they'd grown which were so refreshing.
The room was the one facing the sea with a large balcony. The balcony opened onto the bedroom and living room/kitchen via french windows with wooden louvred doors, which allowed for great air flow. The airflow meant the room stayed comfortably cool without needing to use air con (which is free, as is a safe in the wardrobe.)
There were various cooking utensils provided, plus a kettle and coffee cafetiere and glasses/plates etc if you wanted to self cater.
The bed in the bedroom was kingsize and extremely comfortable, there were also two single beds/settees in the living area, plus a table and 4 chairs, so you could easily sleep 4.
There was a hairdryer in the bedroom dresser although we had brought one anyway.
The bathroom was classic Greek wetroom style, which some people don't like but we find to be easy to get used to and works well for the climate. The shower has an electric heating system for which you need to turn on some breakers in the fuse box for a few minutes. We found once the first shower had been taken, the water stayed hot for the rest of the day. In fact on an evening we found the 'cold' supply was actually hot enough for us!
The owner's parents live above the apartment we were in, and were extremely friendly and helpful again. On the day we came back, The father insisted on driving us to the airport, and the mother gave us a leaving present, which was so generous and nice of them.

Perfect for us -
Not a lot not to like - quaint and a touch of authentic Greece . Welcomed on arrival by a lovely family and shown to an upstairs apartment with stunning view of sunset. WiFi safe and air con included in rental fee. Sheets and towels changed regularly by owners Mama, nothing too much trouble. Walking distance to harbour and restaurants etc. had a car so ventured out most days anyway. Will defo return at some point.

Superb sea views from our apartment
Just got back from nautilus apartments Sissi and I have to say we had a lovely 2 week staying here, we were in room 9 and it had everything we needed it was very clean and the sea view was amazing. I did book a superior studio but it had a separate bedroom so I'm not too sure what it was, whatever it was very good and I liked the idea of the switch for hot water we just flicked it on and then you got hot water instantly. The people that looked after the apartment were very friendly and happy to help if you needed anything, they also lived in the apartment block. Just a little niggle for us and that is we felt that the bins should have been emptied more often than every 2 to 3 days with being in a hot climate we think that it should have been more often. But that's what just a minor issue if we do come back to this area we would have no hesitation in booking these apartments, not only do you get great views and a superb apartment they are very reasonably priced.

Excellent value, spacious, clean and comfortable.
This was our 13th year of going to Sissi, but the first time we've stayed at the Nautilus. The room was spacious and very clean, with a separate kitchen area including fridge and cooking facilities. The bathroom was pretty standard for a Greek apartment, the shower was a bit quirky, there was a breaker for the boiler that we were advised had to be only switched on for when we were showering, as it affected the hot water in the apartment below. Sheets and towels were regularly changed, wifi was free, with a solid connection and good speed. The air con and safe were both free too, at least the key was in the safe and the air con was switched on with the remote in the room and we weren't charged extra. Neither of us are keen on aircon, but on the last day there was a very hot wind from the South which meant we had to close the doors and windows, so the aircon was welcome! We were also not charged any extra for a late checkout as we had a late flight home. We both found the beds very comfortable and slept really well.
The location is pretty peaceful and quiet, plus there is a lovely garden running down the side of the apartments with lots of potted plants. Well recommended, would definitely stay again.

Good location, basic and inexpensive.
We found Nautilus almost a year in advance of our trip and it seemed to be far less expensive than nearby hotels. The fact that they wanted payment in advance with no cancellation was something I never do. However the price was so reasonable I figured if we had to cancel it was worth the gamble.
The hotel is an older building which looks like it was intended to be an apartment with two stories of two bedroom apartments with a kitchen sitting room and a large bathroom with a small deck at the front door and a large sheltered deck at the back.
We had side sea views from both decks.
The owners lived on site and spoke little English but were friendly and twice during our week stay they brought us fresh eggs from their chicken coop.
I would certainly stay here again if we return to Sissi.
