Great little room in an ideal location!

Pension Angela is welcoming and in an ideal location to explore Skiathos town. The room is basic but clean and has everything you need. Aircon is efficient, and linen and towels changed daily The owner was both friendly and helpful. The grocery store at the end of the street is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and the shopkeeper is a font of knowledge and local charm......Penso Angela is great value for money if youre after a basic, cheap and cheerful room

A true reproach

Luckily we booked a room here only for one night: a small, dirty and smelly basement. With attached cockroaches to keep us company and linen not even washed!
Bath impractical.
Welcoming... nothing, since the lady did not even reveal herself and gave directions on the phone only arrived at the facility. Vile.

Terrible

Very bad accommodation-in general. First of all we booked pension Angela a twin bed apartment and once we arrive they took us to another building called vasiliki because they only had left a double bed room. the room had no shutters or thick curtains and the sun woke us up early every morning. The bed sheets and towels were beyond old and torn. The air condition was set to 18degrees hi speed all day long and the heat was unbearable. The furniture and doors was at least 50 years old. There was no insulation and you could hear everything. The worst thing though was the water pressure and hot water. We complained since day one and the guy came and said that it’s because there are full that there is no pressure and hot water left. there was no ventilation or window in the bathroom. Also the WiFi was available only on the reception not in the rooms and the safely provided service that they advertise to keep your luggage means that u drop your suitcase in the main entrance and hope nobody will take them since anybody with a key to the building can come in. We paid 77€ per day for this dump and I wouldn’t recommend for even half of the money .

Exactly what we needed.

We stayed at Pansion Angela for 4 nights in July 2018 and to be honest the place was way better than we expected. The rooms were cleaned daily, nice balcony, A/C worked great. Only downside was that WiFi signal couldn't reach our room and the bathroom was a tad cramped. For 160 euro we got more than we asked for.

Do NOT stay here

I have travelled many places and always been fair with my reviews. We booked this place for a one night stay as our last stop. It was relatively cheap but not the cheapest and we didn't expect much over and above a cleanliness and a modicum of comfort. It was filthy, the toilet bin had soiled paper still in it, the bathroom riddled with dirt and grime, the bed sheets full of stains. It is centrally located so you expect some street noise but the noise from the corridors of the reception managers dog barking at 3am was unacceptable. I can tolerate most places but I'd rather have stayed on a park bench.
