Very peaceful and unspoilt
We booked this place directly with the owner, Kostas, and he was very helpful before and during our trip, with plenty of advice, help in arranging car hire, and he even met us off the ferry and drove us to the villa himself !
The villa is located off the main road between Skopelos Town and Stafilos (slightly closer to Stafilos), in a rural area, and is set back a long way from the road in the middle of olive groves.
I believe the villa is newly built, but looks traditional, and is perfectly sized for 4 people. It is in great condition, the grounds are very nice, and the pool is great - you will spend most of your time in or around it ! Some basic food items are there, as are all the pots, plates, cutlery etc. Just bring towels and toothbrushes !
There is a fridge/freezer and oven, washing machine, tv with satellite (but I couldnt get it to work), stereo, and aircon. We found the aircon to be a bit tempramental, but it generally worked OK.
There is a shop just across the road, and a petrol station / supermarket about 1km towards town. You will need a car if you are staying here. We paid 85EUR per night, and this was excellent value between 4 people !
The only thing we disliked were the scary horseflies with green eyes (that you get everywhere on the island), and that was nothing to do with the villa itself !
I would recommend it, you can book on sto.st/~agravlis.

Lovely villa but not for people afraid of wasps
We arrived at the villa and on first impressions it was lovely - in a perfect location, lovely building and good size swimming pool. Although we didn't get to meet the owner, we spoke with him on the phone and he was very pleasant and welcoming.
We booked to stay here for one week, however we only stayed for one night. This was because: we didn't realise how many wasps there were going to be - we're afraid of English wasps, let alone wasps here (they are HUGE and many of them!). Also, when we went to bed in the evening, we were woken several times in the night by a scuttling sound and squeaking in the roof of the villa, that moved from room to room. We weren't hugely put off by this, but it did make us feel a little uncomfortable and restless in trying to sleep.
Many people have written in the guest book there about how lovely their stays have been. We are certain our stay would have been wonderful if we didn't have a problem with the amount of wasps, horseflies and other insects lurking. Unfortunately we checked out and went to stay in Skiathos where there are far less wasps/bugs.
