Excellent experience at the Electra Palace Spa! We had a massage with Natasa and Areti and we were extremely happy with the experience. They were both very kind, professional and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning!! The massage was relaxing and very well done and the spa itself was beautiful and clean. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend it!

Wonderful Stay @ Electra Palace

The best massage I’ve ever had! My mum and I had the most wonderful stay at Electra, and the spa experience was absolutely incredible. Chrisma and Areti OMG, you were the best! Such amazing therapists and such a beautiful experience. Highly recommend! ❤️✨

Excellent

Excellent hotel in excellent location. All amenities in room of very high standard.
Beautiful food at breakfast and in top floor snack bar.
Friendly, efficient and helpful staff .
However, pool area too small for number of guests resulting in not enough sun loungers or umbrellas.
Very good value for money.
Overall, would highly recommend.

Massage Aegeo spas

A wonderful experience with Christina and Lea at Aegeo Spa. They were very professional, kind, and caring. They took the time to understand my back pain and recent surgery, and provided a massage that was perfectly adapted to my needs. I felt relaxed and well cared for. Best hotel in North Greece; Not so great its restaurant Orizontes and the front desk manager

The hotel is very good from almost all standpoints. I would have given 5 stars if we hadn't had a little dispute over the charges of our dinner at its fancy Orizontes restaurant. We were four and when we finished our dinner and asked the waitress to bring us the bill I saw the bill with the total amount (food and taxes) and under the total amount there was the term "tips." I asked politely the waitress if the service was included on the bill and she replied it was not. I live in USA where the service is not usually included on the bill unless there are more than 6 or 8 guests. So I considered to do the same as we do in USA and ultimately to add a 18% of the total amount minus the tax. I signed the bill to our room and we left the place. By the way, I am aware that in Europe the service in restaurants is always included on the bill directly in the price of every item you order, although I was not totally sure about hotel restaurants. When we checked out I asked the front desk about the charges of our dinner and if the service indeed was included on their bill. Unfortunately I did not get a clear answer including by the manager who mostly had been defensive about our problem But when they went through our restaurant bill and saw that the "tips" was much more than just what the hotel considers by "tips" they did not charge me for the original "tips." Four things to take home. One is that the waitress lied to us perhaps because we were foreign guests. As a matter of fact the service was included in the bill in each item we ordered. She should have known this. Second, the restaurant should not indicate the term "tips" at all on the bill. It's confusing for non European guests. Besides, guests are not obligated to add a tip. Those who want to add a "European tip" of the range 3-5% they can do it without reminding them "tips." Third, the manager shouldn't be defensive but professional. Finally, I hope my comment will be beneficial for your hotel to be able to fix little things. Our little problem should not had been in this great hotel and if sometimes such little problems occur there should be better ways to solve them instead of being defensive! Apologies can be given by anyone, including by a great hotel like yours.

In Greece, the cost of service is already included in menu prices, while leaving an additional gratuity is entirely optional and is simply a way for guests to recognize exceptional service.
During your check-out, when you mentioned that you believed you had left a higher tip than intended, our Front Office team was happy to review the restaurant bill with you. Once it became clear that there had been a misunderstanding regarding the optional tip, we immediately adjusted the charge according to your request.
We are sorry to learn that our explanation did not leave you with the positive impression we always strive to provide. While our intention was to clarify the distinction between service charges and optional gratuities, we regret that the communication did not meet your expectations. Your comments are valuable, and we will take them into consideration as we continue to improve the way we explain these practices to our international guests and ensure an even smoother experience.
