The Best Beach Bar Experience of My Entire Halkidiki Trip
After visiting a different beach and beach bar almost every day during my vacation in Halkidiki, I honestly thought I had already seen the best the area had to offer. Then, on my very last day, I found this place.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt different. The people, the staff, the overall vibe, everything was genuinely positive and welcoming. It’s one of those rare places where you instantly feel comfortable and relaxed.
A special thanks to the entire staff. The level of hospitality here is something I haven’t experienced anywhere else during my stay. They make you feel valued and taken care of without being overbearing, and that makes a huge difference.
The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair and reasonable. Nothing felt overpriced. As a nice touch, we were also treated to ice cream and pudding after the meal, which was completely unexpected and appreciated.
I’m actually a little disappointed that I discovered this place on my last day in Greece because I would have happily spent more time here. That’s not to say the other places I visited weren’t good, many of them were great. But when it comes to the combination of atmosphere, service, food, and hospitality, this place stands in a league of its own.
Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back on my next trip, and next time it won’t be just for a day visit. Highly recommended.

Not Recommended
Very disappointing experience.
We stayed at the hotel and spent money at the beach bar every single day, ordering drinks and food. Despite that, the beach staff treated us with a surprising lack of respect. We were told that we were not allowed to bring our own drink, and one staff member even threw away our can of juice instead of speaking to us politely. As a pregnant woman, I was expecting at least a little understanding and courtesy, but there was none.
The older gentleman, who seemed to be the manager, was especially rude and unprofessional. His attitude made an already unpleasant situation even worse.
One piece of advice for future guests: pay by card whenever possible. If you pay in cash, carefully check your bill. We received a handwritten receipt with charges that we did not fully understand, which left us questioning the accuracy of the bill.
A beautiful location cannot make up for poor customer service. Sadly, the way we were treated completely overshadowed our stay, and for that reason I cannot recommend this place.

Fabulous taste menu
the restaurant is on a high level with a diverse menu and rich plates of food, also the staff’s kindness make your dinner more plesant.

Relaxing vacation
We had an amazing stay in Vergos hotel. From the reservation to communication with the property to the smallest details. The hotel is very clean, the grounds are kept beautiful and spotless. Room was also very clean, with comfortable mattresses, working air conditioning, towels were changed every other day. I can’t say enough for the service: staff is super friendly, hard working and always making sure we were comfortable.
The food: super delicious, large portions and reasonably priced. We wanted to try everything, so no wonder we put on some extra pounds .
The beach is beautiful, with private sunbeds, Cristal clear water. Sorry for the long review, just wanted to mention all the positive things. There is nothing that we didn’t like. It’s perfect spot for family with small children-there is a special kids area. At the same time it is quiet and pleasant for relaxing if you are adults who just want to have quiet time. We will definitely recommend and may be return with our grandchildren. Thank you all from Vergos hotel for taking care of us❤️

Excelent
Hotel is very nice and family adapted.
Rooms are nice and cozy, housekeep ladies are cleaning it every second day which is enough. They are also very polite. Restaurant in the hotel is extra, food is so good, portions are so big, after each meal you get ice cream. Super nice. Also stuff in the restaurant is excelent. All team working in Vergos hotel is excelent
Beach is good, bar also. Adapted to kids and families.
There are stores near by, and other restaurants as well.
This People working hear are magnificient, i would like to see them as well next year.
