Good place

location near the beach 3 minutes walk to Mashhoom beach, the place is clean, cool staaf very friendly. here there is also a spa when you are tired you can take a massage, this is the best place for massage.

Not a good experience

Overall the experience my friend and I had was not a good one. We asked about a snorkelling trip and got taken out on a private boat to very dangerous shores and consequently asked the driver multiple times to go back as we feared for our lives. The conditions were very dangerous. We later found out all hostels and accommodation advised no one to go out in these conditions. We weren’t told about this. As a result the owner took us down to a beach where we couldn’t actually snorkel and brought us broken snorkels. This was so disappointing as we planned this one night trip to go snorkelling and as well as our lives being put at risk, there wasn’t a positive alternative given. The owners also were very delayed in picking us up from places we organised well prior - 60mins late resulting in us almost missing our ferry. The rooms were cheap which was great but had no air con and no sheets - just a blanket which I don’t think had been washed, in a 30 degree room. Wouldn’t recommend to travellers especially if you are wanting to run activities through the owners/homestay.

Nice place near at the beach

We stayed two nights and we liked it. Would stay more longer if they have rooms avaible. Owner and stuff was very friendly. Room was clean with air conditioning. Wi-Fi was ok, but stopped working at times. We rent a scooter by them and get full tank of fuel too. Breakfast wasn't included to the room price but you can buy it for only 30 rupiah and you get juice, bread, egg and coffee/tee. I recommend this place if you want to stay near to the mushroombay and dreambeach.

Central location in a beach town

PROS
- location: minutes from Tamarind Beach and Mushroom Beach, meters from restaurants and shops, I couldn't have been more central
- free WiFi in all locations on the grounds
- air-conditioning: 2 of the 4 rooms have AC, the other 2 have fans
- linen and towel s are included
- a clothes rack is available for use
CONS
- breakfast not included
- the AC wasn't working properly; however, it was working which I was grateful for
STAFF
- because it is a homestay, the family lives on the grounds and because if this, any questions or concerns you may have will be looked after right away. The husband, who works in a hotel on the island, took time out of his work day to make sure he was there to greet us upon arrival and departure. He also called the Ferry company to confirm our pickup, which I thought was a kind gesture
MISC:
- scooters and spa services are available ay the homestay

Good value and good location

My wife and I stayed here for the last two nights.
It is fairly easy to find and the owner is reasonably friendly. Our room was basic and for some reason had a large wall a metre or so from the door into the room. This was irritating.
No AC, for me the nights were too warm but my wife found sleeping here very comfortable.
The location for Mushroom beach was fine, a 5 minute walk had us on the beach.
Tamarind beach was much closer, but we didn't like it much.
The area in general was busy, but not yet so busy that you felt that you were in downtown Kuta.
There was a massage business on site which we did not use.
Overall good value but there are better places locally if you are happy to spend a few more Rupiah.
