On my trip to Bali, I selected two hotels to visit all planned locations as conveniently as possible without wasting any extra travel time. (Champlung Sari Hotel & Spa Ubud and Puri Bambu Jimbaran )
CHAMPLUNG SARI HOTEL we stayed there from 27.03-31.03.26 in the simplest room SUPERIOR room 212. In the immediate vicinity of which are various cafes, bars, souvenir shops, money changers, hairdressers and massage parlours, there is a market and temple-everything that travelers may need. The hotel is authentic old not big Mayan style. The clean, green and well-kept area, which contains two swimming pools, one that is opposite the restaurant, is made according to the type of infinity. The second pool is more quiet in my opinion, but it has splintered tiles - pay attention! The room itself is quite spacious with wooden furniture - clean, but with tired renovations, and plumbing, despite this everything worked perfectly. Clean linen, no signs of wear and tear, towels two baths and two for the pool, two for the hands and feet, personal hygiene kits, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel - all as required. Hairdryer and iron went asking at reception-dali writing down the number. There's a kettle set of tea, coffee and sugar, two bottles of 0.25 water are put on the day. Cleaning every day-morning, we never caught the staff, came and it was already clean. Breakfast buffet, with a wide enough choice of dishes you won't stay hungry, great coffee, a couple of dinners at the hotel and as funny as it sounds it was cheaper than in some street cafes. Early, leaving somewhere in the evening ordered lunch boxes and in principle all wishes were taken into account. The WiFi worked fine maybe also because we lived near the reception, more of course used the mobile Esim, which we purchased back in Russia. The forest of monkeys is in the immediate vicinity, so they are almost always on the premises, the staff tries not to inconvenience the monkeys to the campers, but they are naturally faster, can not only steal things from the balcony, but also go inside the room and take what they like. We had bananas and a monkey nicked the ornament from a glass while we were relaxing in the pool. In general, of course, I don't give unsolicited advice, but in this case I will. If you are afraid or negative about monkeys, then you have nothing to do - just don't spoil your holiday, you can't escape them here. We've visited Monkey Forest, there's just an unimaginable number of monkeys there, to say that everyone's kind and sweet, I can't say they live there and there's their rules, and we just let our guests into the world. And if you want to take a photo selfie with the monkey as in the videos on the Internet, then come before 4.00 p.m. in clear weather-even in a little rain the monkey does not work) In general the rest of the hotel was satisfied, the staff is responsive and reacts quickly enough to requests.

Champlung Sari Hotel Villa and Spa - An Awesome Place to Stay
After Sanur I decided to move to Ubud. Once again Meta AI suggested Champlung Sari, Hotel, Villa and Spa for a budget accommodation in the main street of Ubud, The Monkey Forest Road. I opted for it. The place is located right in the middle of the main street. The moment I entered the hotel I knew I have made the right choice
I booked my stay with Bookings.com. The hotel room was allotted quickly. The rooms are large with all the facilities. After I checked in I looked around and was overawed by the place. Located adjoining the Monkey Forest separated by a road. A sprawling place with a lobby, a huge restaurant facing one of the large swimming pools. The hotel has two large swimming pools. The accomodation is mainly two storey blocks.
Tourists throng the monkey forest for to see the monkeys but in this hotel the monkeys visit you in the morning. One has to keep the door shut otherwise they want to enter the room. The entrance to Monkey forest is some distance away. The palace and Saraswathy temple is a km away .
The hotel has a spa with a few experienced therapists. I found the young Bunga very good for a massage.
The hotel staff are extremely friendly, courteous. Ari, Awan and Swarna were most helpful. The restaurant staff too were very nice. I even extended my stay. I would have loved to stay longer.
The day I was leaving to Kuta i wanted to book a Grab car but a hotel staff I had not met earlier came to help arrange a taxi. Trusting him i asked him to. I was disappointed when i was provided a small car for a long journey on a hot and sultry day. The journey was not at all comfortable with the AC of the cat not being that effective. I made cash payment to the hotel. For the price I was charged I would have got a sedan or an SUV. This is is the only negative aspect, during my entire stay where I felt cheated. I was told that the person who spoke who arranged the car was the Manager of the hotel. Why he gave raw deal i fail to understand. In general. I noticed that the staff are more favourable to white skin.
Notwithstabding overall it was a thrilling and awesome place to stay.

My 40th birthday trip
The hotel is beautiful with a great ambiance and a nice pool. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, with special thanks to Darama and her daughter Ayy for their warm hospitality. I had such a wonderful experience here with my soloish group from G Adventures.
