Amazing Experience you should definitely recommend this to more people. Amazing staff and quick response. Great time.

Best hotel for those who prefer stillness and quietness over big cities and pollution. The people are very very nice and will cooperate in every possible way. You can even take spa massage for moderate prices amd calm down. The owner even took us to show us their local festival (royal death cremation). I visited in July 2024 and the weather was decent(colder at night and early morning). You would feel like sleeping early like 10 pm and would likely wake up early like 6:30 am. All in all 10 in 10 and I would definitely recommend you to stay for at least 3 days and enjoy your stay here. Goodbye and have a great time here.

The most authentic experience you can make on Bali / in Ubud.

The rooms are hotel-like and newly built in their beautiful garden, each with balcony/terrace. The accommodation is in a village near Ubud, where instead of traffic noise you listen to the sound of nature and domestic animals. The entire family is so welcoming and daring, ready to do whatever you like just to make you happy and enjoy the vacation in the fullest! They prepared us different dish for breakfast every day which was lovely, as we stayed for five nights. The family has a small grocery shop in their compound and they offer amazing treatments and warm food as well, all for very affordable prices, so you don’t need to bother looking for this anywhere else.
The best part of our stay was that their son Ajun had days off his normal work and took us on sightseeing trips, drove us where we needed to go and took us on a hiking trip through rice fields and jungle – for very fair price (without haggling) and all according to our wishes. It added a great value to our stay! We´ll surely pass by if we happen to go to Ubud again.

Authentic, Incredible Experience!

Telaga House is a really special place and I feel very lucky that I had the chance to stay there. I stayed at Telaga House for three weeks when I first arrived to Ubud. First of all, Wayan, the man who runs everything, is one of the kindest, selfless people I have ever met. He went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable always. I had the chance to meet a lot of Wayan's family as well. Everyone always had a smile on their face and truly made you feel like you were part of the family!
Second, the place itself is absolutely magical. There are a handful of bungalows (nicely spread out) on the property that overlook a beautiful rice field. Expect yourself to wake up to the sights and sounds of nature! Ducks, birds, and even some friendly neighborhood dogs. I felt so peaceful and like I was really immersed in the Balinese landscape, because I was. Also, the property is only a few steps from a very sacred temple in Bali that only the locals really know about. This just added to the real specialness to the place.
Overall, I highly suggest staying at Telaga House if your looking for peace, nature, comfort, and quality in Ubud. I definitely will be back to stay!

Wonderful Authentic Experience

We had an awesome experience staying at Telaga Homestay. Nestled within a very much local Balinese town, we felt wonderfully removed from the tourist traps' hustle and bustle. The garden was rife with gorgeous vibrant plants, not to mention the many animal sounds echoing through. The guest rooms were tidy, inviting and more than comfortable. What made our stay here however, were our fantastic hosts! Friendly, attentive and genuine souls. Not to mention their lovely family pooch, who tottered around welcoming guest pats.
