Great find and respite from the manic Ubud
If want a sterile place in the heart of Ubud, this is not the place for you.
However if you want a interesting, large and and unique, this is ideal.
Just remember you are in the middle of a rain forest, but the ability to lay by a pool (there are a number) and not hear traffic is sublime. You can understand what a number of yoga classes use this place.
The rooms (we had a high end and a low end) were both excellent, with a number of small but unique takes., with excellent staff and actually a really nice restaurant.
Only issue it that it's a bit outside Ubud, but seeing what that place is like, it's lovely to come back to this different and exception place. Taxi's are around £4 per ride and there is a drop off service, but you will likely need a taxi back.

Do not recommend
Place mostly caters to yoga classes/groups but I’m not even sure why they even go as it’s not clean, ants in room, breakfast poor.

Creepy abandoned hotel…….
Pools are not even proper to swim in. I would not stay here again.
Breakfast is again very underwhelming and lacks any effort from the hotel.
Would not recommend anyone to stay here unfortunately! Pick another hotel if you want a comfortable clean and enjoyable stay

Not good for kids
It was probably great 10 years ago, but it hasnt been maintained and it shows.
Kids club no longer exists and nothing available to keep kids entertained. Pictures must be very old as thats not what it looks like now. Im typing this as I sit here about to check out after 3 nights.
We stayed in a 2bedroom family pool suite.
Hotel seems deserted but there are many yogis around. Feels that they dont quite know what they are, they sell to families but this is also a yoga training retreat. Its weird.
There is a lack of staff around working, mutiple bottles of beer sitting by the pool for several days. Not the cleneast place.
I wouldnt recommend staying here if you are a family. A shame as this has such potential, but requires work.
