10/10 great experience
Where do I start... El and bobby were so kind and hospitable. Always ready to help, to have a laugh, have a beer, play cards and have an amazing time always. El either cooked us dinner every night or took us out to try amazing food with great deals (like an all you can eat steak and chips that filled us up so well lol). Within our first 20 minutes of being in the hostel el and bobby informed us that the new tattoo shop downstairs was giving free tattoos so we instantly went and even though el didn't get one himself, he stayed with us the whole time which was so kind. We were taken to so many cool places too. On the days we stayed inside, the vibes and atmosphere was immaculate.
Bobby is a very funny guy and we had so many amazing chats with him throughout the stay, I truly miss having a few beers with them lol.
The showers and bedrooms were very clean, everything was stocked up when needed. It's a great location with both western and Balinese food right at your doorstep. Every night you can see fireworks from so many different directions and the streetlight views with the sunset and moon looks so beautiful. Its a really nice city view.
The beach is a 20 minute walk away but you get to walk through all the business of the markets and tattoo shops if that's your thing too.
I do have to add that el makes an incredible omelette and soup.
It may be a little quiet at the moment but don't be alarmed! If you're looking for a quiet hostel or a party one, the guest size shouldn't matter because they will give you the exact experience you ask for. El is a party animal on the dancefloor lol, he knows a lot of cool clubs and bars. They really deserve a raise for how well they look after the place.
This hostel deserves so much love from guests because they give you so much back. It was a 10/10 experience for us and I highly recommend visiting if you want a true holiday experience.
Plus they have a very adorable kitten and puppy you can play with all the time!
You won't find hosts who care about you this genuinely anywhere else.
