Clean and tidy

Highly recommended place if staying in Meno. These bungalows are close to the nicest beach on the island with sand and little coral but so cheap too! Staff were really welcoming and took pride in place. We would have stayed longer if we could.

Avoid

Staff was not friendly,AC not working, WE chose putri bungalows,it's a best option for exploring gili meno : AC work CV very well,fridge, free water refill, tea,coffee and hot water. Staff is very friendly...

Don't stay here!!!! I have lived in Indonesia and this is terrible value for the price

I am not typically a complainer, but I want to be clear for other travelers who read errant reviews. This place is bad. We booked tropicana bungalows ahead because of good online reviews- not sure how much these people have travelled? I have spent months in Bali, Lombok, Gili Meno and know what accommodation is worth. Our room was dirty, hot, dark and the bathroom really needed updating. Wet, poor drainage, uneven floors. Food was maybe rancid for breakfast- we couldn't finish the pancake. We promptly left after 1 night and found a place ON THE BEACH IN BUSY SEASON for 200,000idr. I recommend not booking ahead and bartering at properties when you arrive. Make sure you ask to look at the room first, try the fans the bed the shower, ask about WIFI. Sometimes it can be 100,000 cheap without breakfast and then you can buy it for a third the cost.
Tropicana deleted our booking on boiking.com so I couldn't write a review there. If you stay here it is worth 150 000 tops. If the bungalow is bad ask for a new one.

Nice place

Lovely and clean bungalows with everything you need!
The beach is very close by (2minutes walk) and the garden around the bungalow is lovely.
Breakfast is simple but great and delicious!
Everything was very clean and agility Meno is a nice and calm islands you should really visit!

Horrible, Disgusting Place

Mum and I stayed here for 1 night (meant to be 3) This place was the WORST for these reasons 1. SUPER unfriendly staff (few of them aren't mean) 2. HORRIBLE location (in the middle of the Island) BEWARE of Tropicana 1 SO MANY MOSQUITOS (And worn out rooms) the Tropicana 2 bungalows were beautiful BUT even MORE in the middle of the Island! We left after our first night to a place called 'Paul's last resort' and even though the rooms were tiny there, there was a pool (cold) and it was right on the beach! We went at full-moon and had a bonfire! DO NOT GO TO TROPICANA BUNGALOWS!!!!
(By the way I'm 8 years old)
