All right!

The staff is very kind, the air-conditioned room very nice with good bedding and a bathroom almost outdoors! All with a nice swimming pool.
Very good value for money.
Far from the works and noise of the city center.
We'll probably come back!

Feels like staffs home

Like most over priced things in Bali this Accommodation is worse than dozens I had in range 15-22€. Broken mirror (why???) AND INTERNET IS VERY BAD AND SLOW unlike stated in ad or reviews. Couldn’t do easy work I depend on and staff wouldn’t do anything about it.
Also seems sone of the staff appropriated the report for their own party place, play their music in public, lie and sleep around in customer relaxing spots and generally behave like you are in their home. Very unprofessional to standards I saw here.

Amazing place

This is my favorite place to stay in Uluwatu. The location is perfect: 5 minutes away from Uluwatu beach, sunset point, walking distance to uluwatu bridge, and more. During my stay all of the right hygiene measures were taken. The room was very comfortable and provided AC. The garden and pool are beautiful and the staff was very friendly. 100% recommend

Good for a short stay

For our first stay in Bali was a good choice, close to the Uluwatu temple and cute beaches. The water in the pool is not clear, but seems clean. The whole place has a nice vibe, very hippie, great for surfers. AC works well. The water in the shower is a bit salty. Wifi is not great. Close to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff.

Good place for a night or two

Satria bungalows offer about a dozen free standing stone bungalows, some 2 Storey, with thatched roofs. The bungalows surround a small pool and unkept garden. We had an upstairs room, featuring basic amenities including a double bed (rather firm and squeaky), bed side tables, wardrobe, desk, small veranda and outside bathroom. The bathroom had a shower, vanity and toilet which while clean were run down. Hot water was .... hot.
No safe and only a very flimsy door lock which would have trouble deterring a field mouse :)
Staff were friendly and hired a scooter for 70,000 rupiah per day. Didn’t try the breakfast as the “kitchen” looked pretty unclean.
Location is off a small laneway just 100m from the main road. It’s within walking distance to Pading Pading Beach and several good restaurants.
At night there were many dogs barking, and some revellers arriving back at the bungalows very late and making a lot of noise.
For around 40,000 rupiah per night (for a couple) the tariff was OK. On AirBnB the bungalows are advertised variously as “Uluwatu Sunset #SB, “The Jungle Uluwatu #SB” and King Uluwatu #SB (Bagong), for reasons I don’t know as they are all the same place?
