Do not leave your money in the safe in your room
Generally hotel was really nice with great breakfast but something was odd when my safe code didn’t work and they had to call maintenance to open it. I was perplexed because I know what code I put. I didn’t bother too much until after I checked out and found to be 200K rhupees down… Then I realized that something was messing in the safe. Just be careful and keep your valuables somewhere else.

Who likes life music in the evening
The facility, food and friendly staff were very good. The holiday recreation was clouded by loud life music in the immediate vicinity, which went from 7 pm until night

Very bad experience!
I’ve never slept worse in my life!
Hotel next to a very lively street with festive bars. So you have to hear the music, the people, the laughter, etc until late at night.
And in the morning... No shutters so ultra present light from 6am, and for the more robust do not worry the yoga coach takes over from 7:30am: “One, Two, Three, Four!”, “Breath!”, “Alright!”... Frankly unbearable, we warned the reception that he would at least make the effort to lower the volume of his voice at 7:30 which seems normal... But nothing to change!
Regarding the room, poorly soundproofed you will have understood, the hot water in the shower lasts about 3 minutes so you have to be quick to 2! There too we talked about it at the reception but here too nothing has changed.
The outdoor shower area is dirty and deserves a good cleaning (spider webs, mold ..)
The breakfasts are exclusively vegan but at the limit if we were rested in the morning it would not disturb us at all but there...
In short it is absolutely not worth the price paid I feel a bit ripped off considering the prices offered on Bali...

Late dec- early Jan trip
In general it’s a wonderful place with a really nice location.
The food was great, the beds were sooo comfy and it’s such a beautiful place.
But for a semi-expensive 5-star hotel, it’s a bit run down. I couldn’t get hot water in my shower or tap, things are a bit stained and needs a little love. Parts of the garden are completely abandoned.
I loved the yoga shala and I took some great classes, but I think it should either be included or come with a discount for people who stay at the hotel.
The staff though. They were not unfriendly to me in any way, but they were so confused. I missed a full day of yoga because I was told both morning classes were cancelled, and then it turned out that it was the afternoon class that was canceled. They signed me up for spa in the wrong day even though we had a long discussion about day and time.
To me, that is not service for a 5 star hotel.

Could be great but just so so
This plays has pros and cons for the price.
Pros
Quite peaceful rustic feel with sizeable bungalows.
Good yoga space and classes offered, that seem to be mostly patronised by outside visitors.
Good location for surfers as about 500m walk to Uluwatu cave.
Quite good day spa for massage with harmonious feel.
Good restaurant for vegans
Cons
Staff not so friendly especially at front desk giving the place a bit of a negative vibe.
Breakfast not included
Wanted to have an instant coffee in my room but no creamer available (don’t like black coffee) I asked at restaurant if I could have a splash of milk as there was no creamer and they wanted to charge me. I decided to wait for breakfast and bought a Bali Coffee in the restaurant but when once again was asked to pay for a splash of milk at IDR 15000. I mention this because it’s gives you a sense of the overall vibe of the place.
Similarly on check out was charged for beverages we did not have which actually were consumed before we checked in, but we were treated with great suspicion and not believed at first until they checked with the restaurant. Again a sense of what the vibe is like.
So no namaste from me.
