Old but Centrally located

The hotel is an old hotel. The rooms are clean but looks old including bed and linen. The pool is a good size to swim for asian size. Breakfast buffet is typical Indonesian. No wifi in the hotel. I did not open the tele.

Great Location, ideal for one or two days stay.

A nice old hotel,
the hotel is clean, has small swimming pool and restaurant, and strategically located next to Malioboro city center and Train Station. Free WiFi, small TV, hot water.
The hotel and the facility is not quite new, however, for a day or two, it still fine.
No Deposit Box in the room, toiletries is bath shower gel and bath soap, no others.

The worst nightmare ever!!!!

I don't have any idea why my brother booked this hotel for our holiday!!! This hotel is the worst ever and it's completely ruin my holiday dream in Jogjakarta. It's very dirty, odd, spooky, and no fridge, bounce of mosquitos. Towels just so disgusting. If you are looking a peaceful place to stay you just arrived in hell :(. Gosh, event the food, they put a lots of MSG. Nothing good about this hotel :( too bad.

Strategic , Cheap , but Poor Breakfast

Around 2017's new year celebration , me and my family was wandering Yogyakarta searching for an Amazing culture-stay experience. Lastly we decided to stay in Istana Batik Ratna Hotel , considering its rich cultural design and quite reasonable price for an old hotel yet very strategical Hotel . The Hotel has a vast parking field , friendly atmosphere . I would have given Excellent rating if the breakfast were a little better, mostly the food is either tasteless or overly tasteful.

Good Location but rather old

Located at the Yogyakarta Central Railway station in the city center but rather old, it has good potential if renovated without removing the cultural ambiance of Yogyakarta. There are many newer hotels in the surrounding areas. While the City is going to modernize the city center, it might lose its attractiveness.
