Fantastic Room & Breakfast, but Service Needs a Polish
The Stay:
As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I was impressed with the pre-arrival communication. The complimentary room upgrade was recognized and much appreciated, and the in-room amenities were a lovely touch. The room itself was amazing—modern, clean, and exactly what you expect from the Moxy brand.
Dining & Facilities:
• Breakfast: While the variety is on the smaller side, the quality and taste were outstanding. It’s a great example of "quality over quantity."
• Gym & Pool: Both facilities are well-maintained. Pro-tip: If you head down around 9:00 AM, you’ll likely have the place to yourself for a "private" workout or swim!
Areas for Improvement:
The service, however, did not quite match the quality of the room. The reception team felt a bit basic and seemed to lack a deep understanding of hospitality—additional training would go a long way here.
This was most evident in the lobby’s recreation area. It was quite chaotic; the pool table and board games were left in a mess, and the staff at the desk weren't paying attention to resetting the area for new guests. For a "fun" brand like Moxy, the social spaces need better management to stay inviting.
Verdict:
I loved the hardware (the room and the food), but the "heart" of the service needs more energy and attention to detail. I’d stay again for the Platinum perks and the breakfast, hoping for a more proactive team next time.

Comfortable and Fun
Strategically located in the heart of Solo, comfortable and clean room, great rooftop pool, many fun activities e.g. billiard, card games, and nice atmosphere.

great hotel in Solo
its a very strategic hotel in the mid of Solo. the breakfast is great, we can hang out on the sofa while enjoying the meals. the staffs are welcoming and always light handed to help you with everyting. all the attractions are within walking distance, definitely will stay again

Wonderful Experience
I wanted to highlight the exceptional service at Moxy Solo during our recent stay. The Team went above and beyond to prepare a beautiful birthday surprise for my husband.
A huge shout out to Ms. Putri Nayfa, Guest Relations Expert for organizing everything so smoothly and to Mr. Reza from the housekeeping crew for the nice Artwork Card, Mirror Art Greetings, cute decor, squeaky clean room with a beautiful view and a delicious cake!
It made our celebration so memorable. Marriott should be proud to have such dedicated team members!
The exceptional hospitality made this vibrant and beautiful hotel a top choice!
The location is perfect as well as it sits directly on the City's main Street.
Walkable to many interesting access to cultural landmarks, traditional markets, and dining hubs.
We will definitely be back!

A lovely hotel to stay
The location is very convenient, with easy access to plenty of great food spots. The hotel has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere with a modern, youthful vibe. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the price offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
