I stayed at Nata Azana Hotel Solo for one night in order to attend the CIE International Education Expo 2025, which will take place on July 20 at 13:00–18:00 AM. I chose this hotel because of its strategic location, its complete facilities, and its modern and comfortable appearance. Here is my experience in full:
1. Check-in process and receptionist service
I arrived at the hotel around noon. The check-in process was quick and efficient, the front desk was friendly and informative. Staff were also very helpful in explaining the facilities available, as well as activating smart TV access, including Netflix account login. They also offer help bringing things to the room.
️ 2. Grand Deluxe Room 1 Large Bed
I booked a Grand Deluxe room with one big bed. The first impression of entering the room was clean, spacious, and luxurious. Modern interior with a warm touch of wood and ambient lighting that creates a comfortable atmosphere.
The facilities in the room are very complete:
1. A king size bed with clean linen.
2. Big Smart TV with active Netflix access without the need to log in to a personal account. It's so fun because I can watch my favorite movies right after the expo is over.
3. AC works optimally and quietly.
4. A convenient desk for typing or opening a laptop.
5. Open closets, safe, sandals, and other standard equipment are available.
6. A clean bathroom, a cool hot shower, and complete toiletries are provided.
️ 3. Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant with a diverse menu selection, ranging from traditional dishes such as fried rice, chicken flour, to western menus such as omelettes, potatoes, bread, and cereals. Drinks such as coffee, tea, juice are also available.
The food tastes pretty good, though I think some items like bread are less fresh. But overall, the breakfast here was satisfying and in line with the four-star hotel standards.
♀️ 4. Pool & Gym Facilities
After attending the expo, I took time to relax in the hotel pool. The pool is clean and wide enough for the size of a city hotel. There is a relaxed seat on the edge of the pool that is suitable for an afternoon break.
In other areas, I also tried the gym facilities. Although not too large, the gym is equipped with a treadmill, a static bicycle, and a few lifts. It's clean, air-conditioned, and not too crowded.
️ 5. Around Hotel & Night Activities
This hotel is strategically located and quite close to the centre of Solo. After the maghrib, I walk around the hotel and enjoy the city of Solo at night. There are many dining spots, shops, and out-of-the-box shops around that can be reached on foot or online.
The surrounding area is safe and comfortable enough to just enjoy the night while hunting the typical Solo cattle.
6. Wifi & Connectivity
The hotel's wifi is stable in both rooms and public areas. I can stream Netflix and open emails unhindered.
✅ Conclusion: Worth it or not?
The experience staying at Nata Azana Hotel Solo I can conclude is very satisfying. Suitable for business, events, and short staycations.
Plus:
1. Spacious and comfortable room
2. Smart TV + Netflix active as added value
3. Complete facility (pool & gym)
4. Strategic location
5. Friendly staff service
Small note:
1. Breakfast variation can still be improved especially regarding bread & pastry quality
2. Parking area is kind of limited if it comes when crowded

Nice Place to Stay
I recently stayed at Nata Azana for 4D3N businesstrip, and overall, it was a good experience.
Location: The hotel boasts a prime location, situated close to popular culinary destinations and near the city center. While it's not directly on a main road, the quieter setting adds to its charm, making it a great choice for travelers who want both convenience and a peaceful environment. It's easy to explore local dining options nearby, and getting to city attractions doesn't require a long commute
Room: The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with a full range of amenities. They feature a mini-fridge, and the coffee provided in the tea set is notably premium—a nice touch. There's also access to Netflix for entertainment, which adds to the comfort of staying in. While the view from the room is of the street, the well-thought-out interior more than makes up for it, offering a cozy and convenient place to relax after a day out.
Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was quick and hassle-free.
Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection, though the main courses were fairly standard in taste and variety. However, the dessert and side dish section truly shined! From fresh pastries and cereals to a unique Indomie corner, a salad bar, and fresh juice, these items were delicious and well-prepared

The parking area is a bit tight, making parking somewhat challenging, but there’s always a security guard present to assist, which is helpful. Property is off the main road, but close to local food favorites (serabi notosuman, sosis Solo) also 4 minute walk to a batik store. Lobby is small and tight parking is available. Rooms are spacious and stylishly decorated. Very pleased with stay. One down side, there were people swimming past midnight the first night of our stay. They could be heard from the rooms facing the pool. Strict pool hours should be enacted/access to pool should be limited to normal hours. Despite this would definitely consider staying here again.
