Snorkel/diving

I went out on a snorkel trip and we stopped at two different locations while the divers went scuba diving. The volume, and variety of fish was incredible! The staff at Tevana were also extremely friendly and welcoming! From the moment we showed up it felt like we had made some new friends. Getting to South Sulawesi from America is a long journey but the staff at Tevana made it worth all of the effort. I will absolutely be going back!

Just above the beach

Very comfortable, good location, delicious food. Mood is relaxed. The garden is nice. It feels like home

Peaceful bungalows nestled into the cliffs by the beach

We stayed at Tevana bungalows for just over a week, also diving with GaiaOne (reviewed separately). Overall a great experience. I contacted them for availability and the communication to accommodate us was fast and clear. They arranged transport to and from Makassar (a 5 hour trip) for an additional cost but takes the hassle away from us. We stayed in both the aircon and fan rooms (because we stayed a while we switched rooms to accommodate prior bookings). Both rooms were very comfortable, the aircon only made a difference in the midday heat, but we were usually out then anyway. Rooms were clean and beautifully furnished, with a terrace to sit and watch the nature in the garden. The restaurant area has a large communal table, bar seating and tables so you can be sociable or have some space. The food was excellent, with a focus on vegetarian. Steps lead down from the restaurant to the beach, although when the tide is fully in the beach is covered. Lots of great environmental initiatives, books and games and a chill vibe. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice secluded Inn at the foot of the beach

Nice secluded Inn at the foot of the beach. Spacious and well equipped Bungalow. Comfortable bedding. Bathroom outside very nice. Possibility of snorkelling at the Pension Peid and organizing excursions/dives to the nearby islands. Very friendly and attentive staff

AMAZING

I planed to stay for 2 days dovong and ended up spending 5 days doing the advanced dive course at Gaia One.
The diving is awesome, way better than expected and so is the accommodation. Lovely rooms with mosquito nets, super comfy bed amd super clean.
The food cant be amy better. Make sure you‘ll be there friday evening for the curry night, its the best!
People are really nice and socialising, which i appreciate while traveling alone.
After diving you can relax on the sundeck, beach or have a yoga class.
There’s nothing more i could have asked for.
