Studio with Balcony

When I made my reservation through Booking.com, the place was simply called "Studio Apartment". Jamaican immigration wasn't impressed. I was escorted to the office, where they called the number on my reservation to make sure my accommodation was legit. Once my reservation was confirmed, they finally stamped my passport. On the positive side, the phone call to the apartment manager got me a free ride to the resort, avoiding the hassle & expense of dealing with the airport taxi mafia.
The Garden Studios are an apartment complex on the grounds of the El Greco Resort. A few of the apartments can be booked by holidaying tourists, while others are occupied by expats. By car, you should enter via the main entrance on The Queens Drive. To head to the Strip, you walk over to the Montego Bay Club Resort (part of the same complex), then take the elevator down to Gloucester Avenue. The alternative entrance is diagonally across from Doctors Cave Beach Hotel.
The apartment was a little old fashioned, but featured all the necessary amenities. The balcony afforded a splendid ocean view. There is no daily maid service.

the hotel looked so old the bathroom was old smelled liked mildew. I would never go there again.

Worst place I've stayed ever. This place is falling into pieces, everything was dusty, dirty and smelly, there were cockroaches and ants everywhere, I asked for a better room even if I had to pay and the girl at the front desk said she could do nothing because I booked through a Web page. Complete lack of service. Well located in the same area as the El Greco Hotel which is by far a better option and at the same price. Be careful when walking at night if you're alone because there will be lots of guys offering pot, girls and souvenirs, very annoying. This was my third time in Jamaica and have never had such a bad experience.
