A great experience!

This lovely resort is a wonderful way to experience Jamaica as it should be experienced—owned by and run by Jamaicans. Treasure Beach is a friendly community with cute shops and delightful restaurants. The resort is clean, comfortable, and affordable with rooms that allow plenty of space to spread out in and relax. The food at the resort is excellent. It is set by the ocean within a short walk to a beautiful and uncrowded public beach (we had it to ourselves but for one or two others each of the 5 afternoons we went for a swim). My friends and I had a great experience at Taino Cove and Treasure Beach!

Great place

Our 10 day stay at Taino Cove was wonderful in everyway. The room was clean, had good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, a nice little refrigerator, and a great view of the ocean. The woodwork and detailed decorations throughout the facility were beautiful. The food was delicious but didn't have many choices. We could have ordered delivery food, but choose to go with whatever Cherry was cooking that evening. The pool was well kept and we enjoyed swimming in it. The nearby ocean was rocky and had a strong current making it unsuitable for swimming, However a very nice sandy beach was only a few minutes walk along the shore. Although the facilities were excellent, the best part of our vacation was meeting with and getting to know the people there. Winnie (the owner) is a very special person with an incredible history. Cherry, the cook, presented an assortment of traditional Jamaican dishes that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We are looking forward to returning. Gary and Barbara

Very basic

This hotel is very basic.! Yes it has a swimming pool and sits on the beach but for £120 per night you'd expect to be able to make a cup of coffee or tea in your room but No and breakfast was 2 pieces of bread with a spread of peanut butter and jam, with coffee and a small bowl of fruit the equivalent of half an apple.!! An that's what they call a continental breakfast.

Great Location

I found the staff very helpful, and welcoming the rooms were very clean and the shower was always warm ; the beach was on the doorstep, If I had moan, my son and I opted not to have the continental breakfast but a local breakfast, I was not advised that this would be at an extra cost per day, but other than that great location if you want to stay in St Elizabeth. and yes I would stay here again !!!!!!

Best experience of my life!

The resort is beautiful and Winnie does an amazing job of taking care of her guests! The food was amazing and everyone was so hospitable and kind. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Please stay here and support Winnie’s dream! It was an amazing experience!
