Good breakfast and service, great location
This review covers a stay in July 2026 in Panoramic Luxury Tent 25; we traveled as a couple without children. We have standard expectations regarding amenities and food—we are not luxury travelers.
General Hotel Information
A desert camp featuring 55 different tents;
the dining area features Oriental décor and is partially built into the rock face.
It boasts a beautiful desert location; the camp is accessible only via a camp-provided driver, while personal vehicles can be left at the camp's dedicated parking lot in Wadi Rum Village. The transfer to the camp was quick and hassle-free.
Food
The breakfast buffet is good and runs from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, offering a wide selection of savory and sweet dishes.
Dinner (also a buffet) is included in the room rate and served from 7:00 to 10:00 PM; the local cuisine was delicious, including the traditional *Zarb* cooked in an underground oven.
Panoramic Luxury Tent 25
This unit is located in the front row and offers a stunning view of the desert. The décor is lovely and Oriental in style, though unfortunately showing significant wear and tear; it is in need of refurbishment. The bathroom also has some cosmetic flaws; given the price of the stay, urgent improvements are needed. Wi-Fi is available, but there is no TV or refrigerator in the room.

An unforgettable desert setting, but not quite the luxury experience advertised
The location is absolutely spectacular. Nestled between mountains in the heart of Wadi Rum, the camp offers a truly unique and unforgettable setting, surrounded by some of the most breathtaking desert scenery you can imagine.
A special thanks to Mohammed for the warm welcome and for taking the time to clearly explain how everything works upon arrival.
The experiences offered by the camp are undoubtedly one of its strongest points. We highly recommend the jeep tour and, above all, the stargazing experience with Ali, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Families with children should also consider the morning camel ride: it may be a tourist activity, but for kids it is a magical and unforgettable experience, while also supporting the local community.
The main issue is that the camp does not fully meet the expectations created by the word "luxury".
The property is clearly showing its age and would benefit from a significant refurbishment. The furnishings in the family tents feel dated and somewhat kitsch, lacking the sense of freshness and elegance one would expect from a luxury camp.
The bathroom, in particular, requires a complete renovation. Grouting and corners showed visible signs of wear and discoloration, cleanliness was not always at the expected level, and there was a persistent stale-water smell coming from the plumbing.
The food experience was another disappointment. Both dinner and breakfast were more comparable to what one would expect from a lower-category hotel rather than from a luxury resort charging premium rates.
Ultimately, the nightly rate feels difficult to justify given the overall quality of the accommodations and dining experience. Having said that, this is also a broader challenge in Wadi Rum, where the term "luxury" is often used quite generously, while truly luxury properties operated to resort-level standards remain relatively rare.
Overall, the extraordinary location and desert experiences make the stay worthwhile, but expectations should be set accordingly: this is a memorable desert camp rather than a true luxury resort.

Awesome experience
We had an amazing time at Aicha luxury camp. It was an experience of a lifetime being in wadi rum and in the done rooms.
Jamal at the reception was so welcoming and helpful.
At the restaurant Raj provided us with great service along with the other staff sorry we forgot to take their names.
At the lounge Hamza and his colleague were great too. Went out of their way to help.
It was a lovely experience to have tea by the bonfire at night. The gentleman who served us was so hospitable.
Overall, the hospitality and warmth of the staff truly made our stay special. Thank you !

Surreal experience
Memories Aicha Luxury Camp truly feels like a paradise — like stepping into a postcard from Mars. The luxury dome tent exceeded all my expectations, even more impressive than the pictures, with every necessary comfort thoughtfully included. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. Special thanks to Hamza and Saleh at the café, who provided excellent service for both food and shisha. The camp is absolutely magical during both the day and night. An unforgettable experience that should not be missed

A huge disappointment!!!!!!!!!!
The camp is completely overrated. It does not have the charm of a night in the desert at all. The so-called luxury tent for EUR 400 per night is worn out (see photos). The shower is teeming with mold (see photos). Food is plentiful, but only average quality. There aren't even glasses at dinner to drink. Small water bottles are ready for dinner. The camp is geared towards mass, not individuality, as you might expect with 5 stars. I know other camps that offer far more than this camp. The reception was cool, immediately a balloon ride was offered, even at inflated prices. Also the location is not nice at all, it is more or less directly behind the entrance to the desert. The view is also limited, because the mountains are right in front of the camp, so nothing, but also nothing of the sunrise or sunset can be seen. The air conditioning supplying the camp is noisy. My friend who accompanied me is an electrician. He said the cheapest device was chosen.
