The rooms, which are not expensive, are large and quiet, and the cleaners are allways at your disposal. They are quick and very good with their work.
The name of the hotel is with two t-s and is not to be confused with the hotel chain Sheraton. The place is a four star hotel, just as I want it. Not too stiff as many five stars hotel. The atmosphere is warm and nice. Here you can swim in the pool between the bar and the restaurant. There is allways a guard at the gate to the beach, and a swim in the Indian Ocean is not to forget in the cold winters of Europe! The ocean is twenty meters from the pool....
This was my second stay at Sheratton Beach Villagio hotel in one year. And I enjoyed it very much. Don´t stay only a couple of days, but maybe ten or fourteen days, at least. Then you will be able to find the quitenes and nice atmosphere. Here you can walk along the beach, have a cold beer or a cold, dry white wine in a large glass for two Euros at one of the many bars and restaurants near the beach.
The foood at Sheratton is good. You will also find many nice restaurants nearby the hotel and the beach: Yuls Restaurant or the Italian La Casa Di. Both very good!
And if you walk nearly one hour from Sheratton by the beach, you will find the restaurant from haven called "Sea Haven Restaurant". It lies on the top of a hill with front to the sea and the long beach. It has a spetaculaire and amazing view! And they serve many nice dishes.
All the restaurants can be reached by a taxi from Sheratton for a very small amount.
