Highest service level in luxury settings
Absolutely fabulous small luxury property with the highest service level. The staff go far beyond what can be expected in making guests comfortable and happy. Wonderful suites and common areas. First Rosewood stay for us but definitely not the last.

A fantastic place to relax.
A fantastic hotel nestled in nature. The space with small elevations, water, and plants creates a breathtaking atmosphere. Everything is built, furnished, and perfected in colonial style. The villas are very well equipped and the room service is the best we have ever had. Flowers, fresh fruit, small arrangements that make things nice for you. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is taken care of to the greatest satisfaction. Here you are truly on vacation

From the moment we arrived, Rosewood Luang Prabang set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable trips. A heartfelt thank you to Lucky for the warmest welcome — your smile and genuine hospitality made us feel at home instantly.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight every single morning, and that's entirely thanks to Tee and Philips, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness, cheerfulness, and attention to detail made each morning feel like a special occasion.
The fishing experience with Noy was truly magical — a peaceful, authentic moment that connected us with the beauty of Luang Prabang in the most wonderful way.
A big thank you also to the entire driver team for the seamless shuttle service to the town center. Always punctual, always friendly — it made exploring so effortless.
We cannot wait to return.

Incredible place and an absolutely perfect experience.
The Rosewood Luang Prabang represents the best hospitality with the warmth of the Lao personality. Located beside (astride??) a lovely waterfall, the Rosewood is a peaceful resort with an intimate feel. We especially recommend suite #2 for its peaceful location just by the waterfall.
The restaurant on property serves high quality Lao specialties and international options. The warmth of the staff and attention of the general manager added to the qualiity of our stay. We also took advantage of the staff's advice/booking for local restaurants, which worked out perfectly as well.
We travelled to this property with a group of friends, and each of us loved this place. Speaking of friends, the bar served cocktails inspired by local flavors and was a great place to gather before or after excursions in the area.
We were glad for the location 10 minutes away from town, which really feels perfect. We enjoyed car service into town whenever we needed it.
This experience has turned us into fans of the Rosewood brand, and we look forward to exploring more of their properties on future travels.

Perfect end to our vacation!
The Rosewood in Luang Prabang was the perfect place for our group of seven to wind up our trip to SE Asia. We wanted to treat ourselves to something special at the end of our three week tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, and we were not disappointed. Our evening arrival highlighted the magical Rosewood ambience at night with its atmospheric lanterns and candlelit tables. We had a delicious and festive dinner in the open air dining room and were also delighted by our rooms - each individually stylized with a particular historical figure in mind. Our mornings were busy with activities but we purposefully left time in the afternoons to relax at the beautiful pool which looks over a stream running through the property.
The manager, Jonathan and all of the staff were proactive in making sure we had plans for dinner arranged and they provided small but meaningful favors such as delivering towels and water to us at the pool without our asking, and snacks and little gifts to the room. Should we return to Luang Prabang (and I hope we do) we will go right back to the Rosewood!
