A perfect apartment with perfect location
Absolutely gorgeous apartment in the very heart of Riga, in a beautiful stylish building. My room was on the second floor: big, a lot of light (two smaller and one big window), with very nice old-style furniture, a bit of luxury, everything very clean. The bed was large and comfortable, bathroom very nice. And the best: it was 50-100 meters from all major things to see/visit in Riga. I really enjoyed it! I had also breakfast included in a hotel 200m away – good, solid breakfast. I had to go there and also get the key upon arrival – but not a big deal, and the hotel provided a taxi, though no real need as I later understood it is very, very close.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, COMFORTABLE APARTMENT
Large, spacious apartment. Well furnished and cheerful.
Great location - right in the heart of old town.
Good kitchen facilities.
Bathroom had heated flooring.
Good breakfast spread.
Negatives : Collecting the keys from St Peter's Boutique hotel was a bit problematic. They gave us wrong directions and asked us to turn Right from Kongu Street while it should have been Left. Caused us a lot of inconvenience.
Apartment on the 4th Floor with no elevator. Lugging all the baggage to the 4th floor and getting it down again was a challenge. Also, each time we went out, climbing up and down 4 floors was a deterrent for not-so-young couples like us. Also, the staircase was dark and a bit scary with the sensor lights working only sporadically.

An Amazing Find!
This place is amazing! When I first waked into the apartment I was felt quite speechless as this place was way above my expectations!
Firstly, you are in the middle of Old Town in Riga, a step away from all the beautiful restaurants and only 10-15 min walk from the Freedom Monument. The apartment is located above a shop with scented toiletries (or something alike..) so you’ve got this fresh flowery smell every time to go into or leave the place. Nice.
I stayed in apartment no. 2 on 1st floor. The place is really spacious and has a grand stained glass Art Deco window, high mirrored ceiling and lets in loads of light. There is a double bed, table, sofa and coffee table, really functional kitchenette (microwave, 2 hobs, fridge, kettle & selection of various teas), and large bathroom.
The bathroom had a good shower, make up mirror, decent hairdryer, full length mirror and full set of toiletries (shampoo, hair cap, shower gel, slippers). If you forget or need any more toiletries, you can get them from the shop on the corner of the building. Two small supermarkets nearby too. Plenty of towels which were exchanged daily.
There is nice big wardrobe, (great for hanging dresses etc), plenty of well designed space, proper hangers and enough of them. No safe and no iron though.
A couple of things to note. When you arrive, you have to pick up your keys at St Peters Boutique hotel, which is only 5 min away from the Laipu Street. The hotel organises a taxi to the other location, but I dont think that’s necessary - it would be enough for someone to walk you there instead... They charge a 100 euro deposit returned at check out.
There is no lift in the block, it’s an old town building - so you have to climb steps - for 1st floor that was ok, but with a heavy case this could be a challenge if you end up higher up.
The appartment can get quite light on a morning, and although there are curtains, you might need eye mask if you’re really sensitive. It was quiet when I stayed but there is a pub nearby, so if you’re a light sleeper you can use the ear plugs from the wardrobe.
I loved staying in the apartment and the place makes feel at home straight away.
Fantastic Latvian hospitality and the city is so beautiful - enjoy!

Отличный отель в центре
При поиске в Риге вариантов для проживания сперва смотрела на отели, потом пришла к выводу, что надо посмотреть апартаменты, потому что завтраки и ужины отелей сети Кларион, которые мы обычно бронировали в странах Скандинавии, это прекрасно, но хочется пожить в старом здании. Эти апартаменты приглянулись сразу и по фото, и по высокой оценке, в итоге на них и остановились.
После бронирования пришла отбивка, что ключи от апартов можно получить в отеле St.Peter’s Boutique Hotel, что взимается залог в 100 евро (можно наличными, можно депонировать на карте) и что в здании, где мы будем жить, нет лифта.
По прибытии в Ригу мы сразу направились в отель, получили ключи и потопали в апарты, от отеля до апартов около 7 минут пешком мимо церкви Святого Петра - причем прогулочным шагом. Апарты расположены в здании, где на первом этаже магазин "латвийского Lush" - косметической марки Stenders, отчего все здание пропахло вкусными косметическими ароматами сверху донизу и мы, конечно, не удержались и немного там пошопились. Лифта в здании нет, это стоит учитывать, для нас это не было проблемой, мы жили на третьем этаже.
Апартаменты представляют собой большую комнату-студию с небольшим предбанничком, где стоит старинная швейная машинка, там же стенной шкаф. Обратите внимание, что в качестве подставки для раковины в ванной комнате тоже использована основа для такой же швейной машинки. В студии имеется и большая двуспальная кровать, и пара больших диванов (старинный и более современный), пара кресел, есть отдельно небольшой столик для еды и кухонный уголок со всем необходимым. Единственное, к чему смогла придраться - обычно в апартах есть соль, тут дают только чай-кофе, а я как раз в эту поездку для облегчения багажа соль-то и не взяла с собой! Посуды достаточно, из техники чайник, холодильник, плита, микроволновка.
Как вы уже поняли, апарты нам ужасно понравились! звукоизоляция прекрасная, в студии три окна, много дневного света, при этом можно на ночь зашторить окна и будет комфортно утром. Удобная кровать, апарты сами по себе визуально очень красивые. В ванной комнате душ, не жадничают, когда ставят гели для душа и шампуни. Уборка каждый день, сменили полотенца, поставили новые баночки.
С удовольствием остановимся здесь еще раз.
