Lovely place in fantastic location

It's all - great place (located in a house where Anna Brigadere - latvian writer who wrote spriditis lived before, picturesque surroundings, good rooms.
Don't fall for the reviews complaining that basic rooms with basic equipment is a problem - this is a charm of this location you go for - it's no ritz carlton, and neither you need one in Tervete, in a historical house where Anna Brigadere lived in.
It's good, clean location, with picturesque wood just out of your window, and Tervetes nature park wihin walking distance, and 2 convenience stores nearby.

Beautiful forest and noisy room

Ideal place for one-night stay. Everything clean and nice, the room is very simple, however it has everything that is absolutely necessary for the travellers. Very responsive staff - because of the cold Latvian summer night they started a heating and demonstrated, how to regulate it during the night. Forest behind the window, the nature all around, the morning starts with the birds' songs. But. The attraction of the place can be dependent on other travellers in the house. It happened, that we were staying there in the same time as some travelling company, who were having long discussions until 3 AM in the morning. Because of the specic acoustics of the ventilation system we had to listen their conversations as well. If it was not so easy to hear the other guests, the night could be much more peaceful.

Nella foresta con Spridisi

Bellissima casa in una location bucolica, boschi, lago, ruscello, mirtilli, ponticello in legno per raggiungere la casa dal parcheggio, bar accanto, inserita nel parco Spiridisi. Location isolata ma di grande impatto emotivo accanto alla casa della scrittrice lettone Anna Brigadere (1861-1933), che nonostante l'ora ci hanno fatto visitare. Dalla sua residenza estiva ha tratto grande ispirazione per la sua trilogia ma anche per la commedia: "La principessa Gundega e il re Brusubarda". Oggi l'area di 21 ettari è patrimonio artistico e culturale Lettone. Da non perdere. Unica nota dolente non avere avuto il tempo per passare lì l'intera giornata a passaggiare nel bosco a rilassarsi e leggere in un prato.

Passez votre chemin !!!!!!

Ne succombez pas au charme extérieur du lieu : jolie petite maison située au bord d'un cours d'eau et de la forêt avec des petits ponts de bois. ça pourrait être idyllique........
La propriétaire ne parle que le Letton et est difficilement trouvable, heureusement que la serveuse du café située également sur le lieu m'est venue en aide.
La chambre est très quelconque avec un équipement minimum : lit + table +chaise.
Un chauffe eau complète l'ensemble, il fait régulièrement du bruit et notamment la nuit. la salle de bains se réduit au minimum. voir photos
Il y a plusieurs chambres dans cet établissement et l'ensemble est très bruyant : chaque ouverture de porte, pas dans l'escalier, .......
Selon le mode de vie des habitants vous partagerez vers 23 h 30 le bruit incessant de leurs douches auquel s'ajoutent ceux des tuyauteries et de la remise en chauffe des chauffe-eau (je vous le rappelle situé dans votre chambre) le tout pendant 2 h au total et pour écourter davantage votre nuit, à 6 h 30 du matin on vient couper l'herbe sous vos fenêtres.
A moins d'avoir un sommeil de plomb ; à fuir de toute urgence.
Cerise sur le gâteau : il faut batailler pour obtenir un petit déjeuner à 9 h car on vous le propose à partir de 10 - 11 h Je suis partie avant dépitée !!!!!!!!
