Big comfy room

Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet location. Free parking / garage. The breakfast was excellent. Smoking area on the balcony with comfortable chairs. A little too far from old town if you decide to leave your car at the hotel and get a pint in JACK PUB for example, better to get a taxi.

Great place to stay

Very nice hotel just outside the city center so it's away from the bustle. I've stayed here three times and found it a very comfortable hotel to stay in. It is also just around the corner from the hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno Klinikos. It also has a good secure car park (garage). The Wi-Fi is fast and for free.Staff is friendly and always ready to help. It is very clean and good value.Will definitely book this hotel when coming back to Kaunas and highly recommend.

Clean, cozy and comfortable

We stayed at Hotel Alanta for a weekend with my friend. We had a doubleroom with 2 separate beds at the 3rd floor of this hotel. The location is a bit far from the Kaunas city center, but a taxi-ride to the city costs only about 3 euros so this is not an issue. The hotel itself is a small 3 story building, that is very well kept and family run. It really stands out, as the general attitude towards building maintanence in Kaunas seems to be simply: "F... it". Our room was surprisingly large and had all the basic features needed: Beds, sofas with table, cabins for clothes, desktop and a TV. The bathroom seemed recently renewied an was exceptionaly clean with towels provided. The staff (which I think was a family) was very helpful and friendly and although the older lady didn´t really speak any english communication wasn´t a problem. Overall I have no complains about this hotel and left with a warm feeling towards Alanta and alsoKaunas as a city in general. Would recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as last time

Having stayed here last year and having a great time, we decided to go back. everything was great and the staff even got us a toaster when we asked, but when we were leaving the owner was there and there seemed to be a bad atmosphere. although we couldn't understand what was being said it was obvious she wasn't happy. We later understood that there was a problem with two of the rooms being left in a mess. these rooms had a lot of empty bottles left behind but nothing was spilled and 5 mins would heve done it, this wasn't a problem last time and we left the staff a good tip because of this, maybe it was because we bought our drinks in supermarket and not in Hotel, we don't know but i have worked as a cleaner in a hotel before and we did not leave these rooms in a bad way. God help them if they ever have a stag party staying. Also one of our party was very ill for last two days but he was still rushed out of his room at check out time.
So to sum up, we've had one excellent stay and one average one. Staff themselves are still excellent

Alanta

Удобный отель. Посещали проездам. На пару дней лучший выбор - не дорого, предоставляется по запросу крытый паркинг, хороший персонал. т.к. ресторан по вечерам не работал (только завтраки), администратор подсказала, где можно заказать вкусную недерогую пиццу и помогла сделать заказ по телефону. Номера чистые, завтрак вкусный.
