Nice, simple vacation hotel

Right in town, everything is within walking distance from the Thomas Mann House to the large dune and the Baltic Sea beach (20 minutes), nice reception (incl. cat), suitable for a restful vacation stay, 3-star standard well achieved

What a pity, it was not commensurate with the possibilities.

The accommodations have the character of a youth hostel. It does not match the very good restaurant. The rooms are extremely worn out; the shower tray and toilet bowl urgently need to be replaced. The skylights also urgently need to be cleaned.

Crowded, disorganised, and uncomfortable

Overcrowded & Poor Service
Hotel was overcrowded and not relaxing. Breakfast was basic and badly organised — long coffee queues in the buffet area which didn’t let people obtain their breakfast, so poorly placed.. Beds were hard and very low. Restaurant was booked out and bar staff weren’t attentive — if you sat outside for just a drink, you had to order at the bar yourself. Disappointing overall.

Birthday Night

Spent 1 night at the Hotel as part of our Baltic Tour. As it was my Wife’s 70th Birthday we had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. Nice Hotel very quiet area but short walk to Bars and Restaurants

Comfortable spacious room

Reception was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed a good breakfast which is served in a lovely dining room. We had a spacious room, simply appointed but with everything we needed , even a balcony. A short bike ride into town and the port.
