A great location with wonderful staff

This is my second visit to this hotel and it is the best this far. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and everything is a pleasure from them. From the cleaning staff to the bar staff and animation team they made this holiday so special. The food was also great with lots of variety.

Enjoy our stay

We booked 2 Standard Rooms. Thank you Receptionist to give us connecting room #4018 and 4019. Made our life easier. Rooms are on the ground floor with beautiful garden view and close to all hotel facilities. Nice and quiet location tho.
We stayed at Iberostar Waves Founty Beach hotel next door before we came here. I must admit most of their staff were more welcoming and friendlier than here but F&B, restaurants, rooms, pools and facilities here are absolutely better and nicer.
Highly recommended everyone fresh orange juice and plain donuts at breakfast buffet. Pizzas at lunch and dinner buffet. They were all incredibly delish ❤️
The downside was self service stations. There was no beer/wine self service at the bars like other Riu hotels we've stayed (only beer/wine self service in the restaurant during meal times).
We saw Hassan who working at the Lobby Bar on Sat 13th Jun at around 15.30-15.45 was quite rude to a Polish family. Also 5-6 customers waited at the Lobby Bar without staff a good 10-15 mins (incl 2 TUI Reps). They left the bar as no one serving. Also unfriendly and moody service at Pool Bar on Thu 11th June in the morning by a young lady and an older lady. Absolutely disappointing.
Thumps up to efficient and service with smile staff : Hiba, lovely lady from Itrane Bar (Sorry, I don't remember the date). Hassan from F&B Breakfast on Sat 13th Jun. Another Hassan, F&B at Asian restaurant on Wed 10th Jun.
A male night shift Receptionist solving my key card issue on Wed 10th Jun. Samir, the Pizza chef making the best pizzas.
Also a Breakfast Chef. I'm not sure he is probably the Breakfast Head Chef always stand around the breakfast buffet line to make sure everything was fine. Definitely friendly, polite and give me info about food tho. F&B staff at dinner buffet restaurant were smiley and welcoming as well

Good hotel

Entertainment team were good fun especially Houssam and Selma, and bar staff did good service

The grounds outside are well kept however the rooms needs some major refresher, the mold in the washroom, the drain in the shower doesn't drain properly. The beds are very uncomfortable. The entertainment staff is by far the best part of the resort they are friendly and nice. The buffets has allot of variety but it's always the same food daily. There are 2 restaurants but they are also buffet.. the Asian is awful that evening our 6yr old, my husband and I all got ill. We addressed it with the management which didn't do much apparently it was "isolated" on our last night we ended eating in a restaurant in the agadir city and it was delicious! Unfortunately for the value spent the resort is not worth it.

Great hotel with big swimming pools, bars and restaurants and many other amenities and facilities. Nice beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Short queues, if any, despite a relatively crowded place. Hygiene and cleanliness could be better.
