Overlooking the Valley of Roses during a gastronomic stay

A haven of peace in the Valley of Roses as well as a gastronomic stop!
During a yoga-pilates retreat, I had the opportunity to stay at the guesthouse.
Izza and Mohamed gave us such a warm welcome that by the end of our stay, we felt like we were already regulars at the house.

Reservation denial, we notice slept outside.

We had to make a late booking because the accommodation that the city festival was supposed to make available to us turned out to be unhealthy. And considering the excellent ratings we were pretty confident. Result an unpleasant possible manager on the phone who let us sleep outside like clean evils finally in our car so tired we were. In short denying accommodation (which then is for 3 nights) to people, it is scandalous. Shame on you, receptionist.

Nous pensons qu’il y a une erreur d’adresse. Vous vous êtes probablement trompé d’établissement.
Notre maison d’hôtes s’appelle Maison d’Hôtes Izza, située dans la Vallée des Roses, à Kalaat M’Gouna.
Notre adresse est bien connue et nous accueillons toujours nos clients avec respect et gentillesse.
Le Festival des Roses a lieu uniquement au mois de mai, il n’y a donc aucun festival en août.
De plus, notre portail principal reste ouvert jusqu’à l’arrivée du dernier client, et nous disposons de trois entrées : deux à l’avant pour l’accueil et une autre donnant sur le jardin.
Nous ne laissons jamais personne dormir dehors, cela ne correspond pas à notre éducation ni à nos valeurs.

Too bad the cold!

The structure is well tidy, basic, the couple who runs it particularly kind. Breakfast in the morning prepared with care, according to local standards: eggs, bread, jam, homemade cake, yogurt with dried fruit. The only flaw, in my opinion, is not having air conditioners in the rooms (or anything else) to defend against the cold. It is quite common in Morocco, to be in these situations since the buildings have no heating. But those who organize such an activity, I hope with luck, should equip themselves with tools that allow customers to defend themselves from the cold, not just with the use of blankets.

Feel at home in the valley of roses

The structure is really welcoming both for how it is furnished and for the hospitality of the two hosts. In addition to having an adorable style, it is also extremely clean, it looks new!
The room is spacious, the breakfast really great and plentiful (with homemade products ), and the terrace, on which we were served, has a wonderful view.
Quality-price more than fair, only flaw perhaps the bathroom because the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom.
Point of improvement: more promotion of the activities offered by the local area.
