Good hotel

This hotel was good. The room was comfy and spacious and it had a fridge which was great. I stayed here for 2 nights. The breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel was fantastic! The staff unfortunately was not too friendly and yelled at me in another language for bringing a water bottle into the dining area. They demanded I buy a drink instead and refused to allow me to drink my own water. It kind of put a damper on the experience as usually water is free but whatever. The hotel was lovely and there was a nearby supermarket where I got some nice snacks for my trip.

Unsafe Rooms and Temperamental AC

We arrived late to the hotel as part of a group - we were quite excited to get to our rooms so the relatively quick check-in was good!
We managed to get rooms close to each other, which is also a plus!
However, I wasn’t impressed by our AC and door locking system.
The AC wouldn’t blow out cold air, no matter what we tried, and the door could only be locked via an old-fashioned slide chain.
We were understandably concerned about this, as if there wasn’t anyone inside the hotel room it was literally left unlocked.
Given how hot it was we weren’t provided with any cold bottled water which I think was a massive oversight.
I get that we had general stores available, at half past midnight we’d all rather sleep than have to go and purchase water.

Absolutely not recommended

The structure appears neglected and in poorly maintained general condition, with obvious signs of wear and poor maintenance in several areas.
In particular, the rooms are dirty and dilapidated, significantly compromising the comfort of the living room.

Could be better

My family of 4 stayed at this hotel with a group. We had 2 separate rooms. My kids room wasn't particularly clean. The shower was missing a door. Other travellers had to change rooms due to mould. My biggest complaint is that they don't provide water. The rooms could use an upgrade. Finally, the outdoor pool is small and visible from the dining area.
On the upside, the staff are great. The location is ok and the food is fine. The neighborhood is not noisy.

Enjoyable Stay

The Hotel Atlas Saiss Fès offers a pleasant stay with a range of amenities that cater to both relaxation and convenience. During our two-night stay, we opted for the breakfast-only, though the hotel also offers dinner. Our room was very nice, and we were fortunate to have a balcony overlooking the pool, providing a lovely view. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. We also used the laundry service, which cost about $25 CAD and was returned promptly. The hotel is well-maintained and everything was very clean. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom, while large, could have benefited from a vent to help with ventilation. The window in the shower let in some unwanted bugs. The bathroom did have a mild moldy smell. The spa and pool areas were excellent, offering a relaxing escape from the city's hustle and bustle. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the patio; it was lined with fake grass and the dividers weren't large enough to provide adequate privacy from neighboring rooms. Despite these small issues, our stay was enjoyable overall.
