Excellent hotel
We found the hospitality first class . The whole staff were friendly and very helpful . We are at 9. 30am and were ask to wait in lobby and a room was allocated at 10am . We were offered coffee and pastries while waiting . The lady in the restaurant and the young lady behind reception were superb throughout our stay. We enjoyed the biggest bed we have had in any hotel and had room was clean and very spacious. A perfect hotel that looks after the client 100%. Thank and we hope to return soon

A great experience, with some room for renovation and improvement.
I had a great experience at Ramada by Wyndham Fes. The hotel has a beautiful old-style charm that gives it a royal atmosphere while preserving the traditional character and history of Fes. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The location is excellent, right in the city center and very convenient for getting around. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained, making it a nice place to relax.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to the blonde lady and the gentleman working at breakfast for their kindness and excellent service.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The soundproofing between the rooms is quite poor, as we could clearly hear conversations from the room next door. The biggest issue was the air conditioning: it was very weak and barely cooled the room, which is definitely not suitable for the hot temperatures in Fes, especially during summer.
The lighting in the rooms was also very poor. The lack of sufficient lighting made the room feel quite dark and less pleasant at night. Another disappointing point was the breakfast buffet, which unfortunately did not reflect the standards expected from a 5-star hotel. The selection felt more comparable to what you might find in a small guesthouse.
Despite these points, the overall experience was great. The combination of the hotel’s unique atmosphere, spacious rooms, excellent location, nice pool, and especially the friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable.

Fez
I visited the Ramada Hotel with my family. The hotel is really very nice and very nice. The rooms are comfortable, the prices were reasonable, and the property enjoys a central location, which is very appreciable. Overall, the hotel is comfortable.
The main problem is the presence of bars and the number of visitors. It can be complicated to hang out with your family.
The breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly.

Deplorable
Let’s say that staff do what they can with the resources that management gives them.
Hygiene of room 616 a disaster a smell of cold cigarette, the carpet is dirty and never cleaned (not seen a vacuum cleaner) the headboard completely shredded, the bathroom mold everywhere, toilet bowl that twists curtains holed by cigarette butts and the windows of a dirt defying all competition.
And NON-EXISTENT soundproofing! You must love scooter racing between 2am and 4am!!
CAUTION no security protection at windows; we can switch easily!
The maids try to do the best they can.
The staff at the reception close to “I don’t care” not a word to our departure not even a thank you or good trip or goodbye!!

Catastrophic
Very disappointing stay in a hotel that presents itself as high-end, but clearly no longer is.
The most problematic point: the heat in the rooms. The heating is centralized and impossible to adjust. Despite outside temperatures around 20°C, the room was sweltering all the time. After several requests at the reception, no solution was proposed, except “it’s like this until May”. A promise of return was even made... but never fulfilled. The result: forced to sleep window open all the time, with the outside noise, and despite this a heat difficult to bear.
Regarding the state of the bedroom and bathroom, we are very far from the standard announced:
bathtub very damaged, scratched and with dubious cleanliness
ventilation ceiling poorly fixed with a visible hole
flashing lights, broken lamps
general impression of obvious lack of maintenance
This hotel was probably a 5-star hotel 20 or 30 years ago, but today it mostly feels like it has never been renovated since. As it stands, it clearly does not match the expected level, let alone the asking price.
The most troublesome thing is the total absence of a solution to a problem as basic as the temperature of a room.
At this rate, this level of benefit is simply unacceptable.
