New and excellent service

Excellent, modern hotel with a lovely pool and fantastic staff
Hotel room (ours was 106) contained all we needed and was new and very comfortable. Our only small criticisms involve 1) the balcony, which was unusable because it had no chairs or other furniture 2) the lighting which is currently bright white, or off, in both the bedroom (if you ignore the tiny reading lights by the bed) and bathroom. An intermediate level of lighting would have been welcome 3) the room was not light proof in that the curtain couldn't be pulled far enough beyond the balcony door to stop all the light, and there was a noticeable gap under the main door which picked up light from the hotel corridor all night.
The pool area was wonderful with plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas and a lovely pool to enjoy. It really was fantastic. The pool bar was a fair price.
Breakfast was good every day though the restaurant itself was quite bland in its layout and decor. We had one dinner, of international food, for which they placed us in their Moroccan restaurant. The beef was top quality. The room itself had a lovely green tiled floor and Moroccan lights, but also a chandelier and European style walls which appeared rather mismatched.
Throughout the hotel, the staff were exceptional. This is true whether on reception, by the pool, at the bar, in the restaurant, cleaning, or providing security outside.
The location is on the edge of town on a quiet road. There is a large supermarket open 9h - 23h just across the road which was most convenient for us.
Overall this was an excellent stay at a reasonable price. We are looking forward to coming again soon!

Beautiful recent hotel with some improvements needed to reach its 5 stars.
Friendly staff, but not yet at the five-star level indicated.
