More than a room to sleep
It offers a very correct lodging option in Tafraoute: I cannot speak for more luxurious options in the town (?) but what you will find here is unsophisticated but spotless clean and completely correct, including proper hot showers and heated rooms. Also, it is just 5 mins from the souk in the city center: a good balance between quietness and convenience.
But then you have the owner and his wife, Mhammed and Aicha. And these two make all the difference :)
Having lived in the area their whole lives they know it inside out, and since they are of curious and talkative nature, the conversation with Mhammed (as Aicha only speaks amazigh) flows and flows. You can discuss about everything and nothing, from personal experiences in the life of Mhammed to insight about the life in the area, and obviously also very good insider tips about things to do in the region and how to plan your trip. Mhammed was essential for us to delve a bit deeper under the skin of rural Morocco and we will not forget all the help offered.
Aicha also offers her cooking skills beyond the breakfast: you can have a home-cooked supper in Azur and I can testify to the bounty it is :)

Alla fine, ok
E’ una piccola casa a due piani, tre stanze al piano terra, altre al primo piano.
Gestito da una coppia di ragazzi (marito e moglie) perché la proprietaria non c’era (non abbiamo capito se temporaneamente o sempre). Siamo rimasti due notti.
Lenzuola sintetiche e non di cotone: se le strofinate al buio si notano piccole scariche elettriche.
Quando siamo arrivati il riscaldamento non funzionava e lo scarico del bagno aveva qualche problema.
Prima notte al freddo evitando di usare il bagno per paura che rimanesse inceppato.
La prima sera abbiamo cenato lì: sinceramente la miglior cena di tutte quelle provate negli alberghi/pensioni (zuppa di legumi, tajine, frutta). Forse, però, 100 dhm sono troppi.
Buona la colazione, si paga a parte (€ 5.00/persona).
Bagno con doccia a pavimento, senza tenda o altro.
Insomma un posto basic tuttavia molto pulito.
La gentilezza dei gestori è impagabile, è quello che alla fine ti farebbe tornare.
