A magical address in the heart of the Medina with great comfort and a sumptuous setting.
Very easy communication with the host and a charming, considerate and more than appreciable welcome. The host offers the services of a team with whom she works closely (and at a very reasonable price): a taxi came to pick us up at the airport, perfectly punctual and accompanied us to the entrance of the ryad. We were able to leave our luggage to start enjoying the city while we arrived early and it is a real must.
The ryad is sumptuous, decorated with care and detail in the local style but without unnecessary overload and with perfectly chosen objects.
3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms a real luxury.
The ryad is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding and nice pillows. The linen is as good as the towels.
The bathrooms are very nice with a very good water flow.
The must is obviously the terrace with a sumptuous view of the entire medina and the sea view.A pti protected space allows to enjoy the terrace even in the evening while being protected.
The host also offers the help of a cook who prepared us beautiful breakfasts with delicious and ultra-heavy local products (including eggs). We also took advantage of his help for a magnificent and ultra-heavy dinner with fresh products and cooked with care and delicious taste.
The host is charming and gives all the useful tips to enjoy the city and its charms.
Can't wait to come back so much this stay was idyllic.

Wonderful Stay & Excellent Host
I went there with my friends. We didn't plan to go to Tangier, but apparently we went there to visit Chefchaouen. I love the guest house!! The reception lady was very helpful. Even though she is not very good in English, we communicate using apps translator all the time. Hahaha. The place was well decorated with a Morocco-style interior. I think each room has different colour. Last time my friend and I got blue. We met other couple, who got their room in red. But I'm not sure! I really love my stay at Dar 23.
Dar 23 is located at old Medina, which surrounded by small shop where you can bargain until you reach your price. But if you bargaining then you did not buy the item, they will make some face showing that they are mad. So make sure you that the item you are bargaining is the item that you will buy.
Apart from that, it is very convenient to find food in that area. Once you leave the place, there is a lot of restaurant that will ask you to come to their restaurant. Believe me!! You will experience it when you are there.
Overall, my trip was wonderful, and I really really enjoy my stayed at Dar 23!! Will come back and visit the place again when I am in Morocco!

Fabulous!
Sorry for the late review, but ... This was a “return” trip as it was where we had planned to stay last year and then couldn’t. It is right in the Medina on a tiny street. Our host, Peter, and his right-hand man, Muhammad, were great. All of Peter’s recommendations were spot on and he was extraordinarily helpful, even before we got there. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great - wonderful local fare. There was no TV in the room (not a problem for us) and a fair amount of stairs to navigate (again – not a problem for us). There was a beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Peter’s an interesting guy and couldn't have been more helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay and we'd absolutely return.

Dar 23 a perfect place to discover Tangiers secrets
Peter's Dar 23 is a great and extremely cozy place in the middle of the medina. The riad is pristine and the interior design top-notch. Both of us liked the breakfast very much which was prepared every morning with charme and love by Peter himself.

Wonderful stay!
I can't believe it's already been 5 years since my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Dar 23! We remember it like yesterday at can't wait to return!
We are once again looking at traveling back to Morocco and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Tangier than with Peter at Dar 23! From the moment we met Peter, we knew we made the right choice. The B&B is well appointed, comfortable, classy, clean etc. The roof top view is fantastic and not to be missed!

We are once again looking at traveling back to Morocco and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Tangier than with Peter at Dar 23!
