Calm and very pretty oasis

Very beautiful place, an oasis of calm, 15 minutes from the ramparts. Lots of little spots to sit, the food is fabulous. Very clean and the staff is very efficient and attentive.

Very nice address in Taroudant

We had a very pleasant stay at Dar Salam Souss. It quickly feels like home, in a calm and authentic atmosphere.
The place is full of charm, with beautiful terraces and a large very nice pool. It should be noted, however, that in March the water was quite cold.
The staff is particularly welcoming and attentive, always available with a smile. Breakfast is hearty and quality.
Our room, located on the first floor, was comfortable and well appointed.
A very good address in Taroudant that we recommend without hesitation.

Very disappointing, highly overrated

The suite is rather well eqipped,including a small fridge.
However, there were several drawbacks:
The open bathroom really gives no chance for privacy.
Even after request,poor information regarding parking .Communication in general insufficient. There is currently construction in and immediately adjacent to the Dar. Workers walking through the courtyard which is also the eating area .
Very unpleasant smell particularly in the evening.
Music is constantly on and turned down only upon repeated request.
Food unusually expensive.
We chose another place for the second night ,which we had already paid for.
No word of excuse nor concern from the manager.

Fantastic place with super food!

We stayed one night at Dar Salam Souss and were immediately impressed. As soon as you enter, you feel welcome what a beautiful place! The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the stay extra pleasant.
After a long drive we were hungry, so we ordered lunch. The smell was already promising, but the taste really exceeded our expectations. Because we had already reserved dinner, we were looking forward to it immediately.
In the afternoon we had no plans yet and the host gave us the tip to explore the city by horse and carriage a fun and relaxing experience that we definitely recommend.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good shower and a fine working air conditioning. The dinner was also fantastic: everything freshly prepared and with great taste.
Overall: a lovely place to stay. Don't skip dinner while you're here!

A choice without regrets

The environment is not engaging, but once inside it is beautiful. A large courtyard surrounded by vegetation and in the middle a huge swimming pool. Many rest spaces. From the afternoon until the excellent dinner, Aziz served us with remarkable efficiency.
Really a nugget in its category.
