Calm and nice, great owner

It is one of the most hospitable places I've been. The owner is very helpful and kind . He is from the region, and can help you a lot with what to do in the surroundings. He really treats customers as family.
Room I stayed in was cosy and comfortable, and had a great price. The hotel has few terrace areas and comfortable common places both inside and outside.
It is just 5km from the todra gorge, at the coordinates: 31.553484, -5.585634 (as of 2014 October, Google maps show it wrongly)
The dinner was very good, especially the traditional Berbere soup was amazing. Breakfast included few jams, butter, olive oil and flat bread.
I definitely recommend this place.

No heating

Maybe during the summer days Hotel Azul can be a great option.The owner is very friendly and devoted to the customer. But when the degrees are low, it's very cold in the rooms. Also they are not very clean, and the bathroom doesn't have a door. I would'n recommend to book this place, especially if it's during the winter season.

One of the most memorable nights in Morocco

We arrived very late at night 9:30 pm. We were cold and hungry. The owner set up a space heater and then went on to cook us Berber Omelets. They were delicious. He is a talented cook. He speaks just enough English to make us laugh. We had a great time, and just enjoyed the quirky charm of Hotel Azul.

Mémorable

Un hôtel pittoresque, extrêmement propre, une nourriture fraîche et locale, un accueil unique au Maroc. Nous y avons séjourné à plusieurs reprise et jamais nous n'avons rencontré de soucis que ce soit au niveau des prestations ou au niveau de l'hébergement. M'Hammed accepte les animaux de compagnie ce qui n'est pas évident en voyage.
Je vous recommande cette étape et vous suggère d'aller faire un tour dans cette extraordinaire palmeraie qu'est celle de la vallée du Todgha

étape pleine de chaleur et de soleil ++++++

C'est une étape agréable, toute simple mais tellement compensée par l'accueil plus que chaleureux du maître des lieux, Mohamed ne sait pas quoi faire pour nous faire plaisir. La cuisine est excellente,de saison et le petit déj copieux.
Demandez lui les ballades à faire, il connait la région comme sa poche ...
Pas d'étoile pour ce petit hôtel mais c'est des étoiles plein le cœur que nous sommes repartis... Merci
