Good clean room in the centre of ivato. Plenty of small restaurants and bars to keep you occupied. Staff very helpful.

Not bad, if better maintained!

This hotel, which I have frequented for nearly 4 years, could be good if the management and maintenance was serious.
But this is not the case, too many details, more or less embarrassing for customers, are not resolved by management.
Two and a half years to repair the faucet of the shower 202, a waste of water that is precious and now it is the toilet that flows non-stop!
The water in the sink flows with hot water, even boiling, because cold water has not arrived for 1 year. Not easy to use.
No tablet to the sink, no glasses, only the old supports.
Curtains do not close all windows, so early morning light.
No more bed mats, while the wooden floor is waxed, so greasy.
Room 202 is spacious, it was at 120,000 ariary per night in 2024, 150,000 at the beginning of 2025, it is now at 240,000 ar, rate doubled in less than a year.
The positive, quite quiet, close to the airport, in the village of Ivato a bit lively. Correct bedding. Welcoming staff, friendly, often sorry towards guests.
Not recommended for people with difficulty walking, as the basic rooms are small and accessible by a rotating metal staircase located outside.

Close to the airport and reasonably priced.

I stayed for one night to catch a domestic connecting flight. The hotel is close to the airport, and the shuttle service was available at a reasonable price, which was convenient. There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can enjoy Malagasy cuisine, among other dishes. There are also food stalls in the surrounding area. I stayed in a twin room on the third and top floor, which was so spacious that it felt too big for just one person. The view was also nice. However, there was no elevator, so moving around was a bit tiring. Also, there was no air conditioning, so it got a little stuffy during the night.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

half a star would also be too..staff at the incompetent reception, I was charged twice for the room that I had already paid the Agency online saying that the bank transfer had not arrived .. ridiculous breakfast: one (one) fried egg, a bowl with mini portions of butter, jam and concentrated milk (!) bread, coffee, tea.The safe in the room was there but it was locked and the attendant did not have the unlock key, the bathroom flooded every time you showered.On my arrival the pump did not work, no shower.every night black-out.The photos on the site do not correspond to reality and I think they are largely those of the suites.

Correct, close to the airport.

Accustomed to this convenient Pension by its location close to the airport, I notice a lax interview. Too bad.
The rooms are decent, TV, comfortable bedding.
Arrive at 7:50 pm from the airport, I go down at 8:15 pm to eat, especially since the load shedding, very frequent power cut in Mada, plunges the room in the dark.
Answer: kitchen closed, too late.
