Good service and good quality

Lovely place and good people. Rooms are big and everything worked in them. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Stayed there with my family and two kids, so would recommed it for couples and families who stay in town for a short visit. We just stayed 1 night.

Overall satisfactory experience

1 staff member very attentive (she will recognize herself) and understanding.
Same very accommodating person who agreed to keep our luggage for a getaway to Nosy Bé.
The hotel agreed to defer our arrival without surplus.
The establishment is in its juices and it’s time to do some work: the ceiling ventilation is very noisy+++++
The continental breakfast deserves to be modified in-DEPTH.

Rova Hotel in Isoraka, Good Services

The Rova hotel is located in the chic Isoraka district, on the hill overlooking the Lower Town Center and Lake Anosy. It is in an old Malagasy style building, and has a rather "cozy" and elegant design, with wood, frescoes and shimmering colors, which contribute to its pleasant atmosphere. The welcome is correct and the rooms are spread over three floors, without an elevator. Several types of rooms are offered with the standard at 110,000 Ar or 25 euros per night or the superior double room at 160,000 Ar or 35 euros per night. Breakfast, which is not included, is correct between 4 and 7 euros with options. I chose a standard room, with a view of the city, equipped with a large bed with a comfortable mattress, a wardrobe, shower room with hot water and WC. A minibar with refrigerator equips the room, as well as a desk. WIFI is free. The hotel is quiet at night and the service is of variable quality depending on the people you are dealing with. It is important to check the bill when paying, as there may be some errors.

Excellent start to our trip

We stayed at Rova Hotel for the first night of our trip to Madagascar. It was a simple but lovely hotel. Our room was clean and had lots of space. The bathroom was spacious and had a great hot shower.
Our room had two twin beds so we mashed them together since we only wanted one bed. Something to make sure to request if you're staying here.
We had a really early start to our morning (4am) but the hotel accommodated that for us and had breakfast ready for us at that time. It was simple but great!

Disappointing end to wonderful Madagascar

We stayed for 1 night at the end of our amazing time in Madagascar. At first glance in the hotel, it looks lovely - fairly modern and clean. Staff were helpful and my room had a lovely view. However, the beautiful exposed wooden floorboards are a poor choice, as anyone walking on them at any time of the day or night is loud - very unwelcome at 4am. Breakfast was very poor (the worst we had on our whole trip), and the shower either ran boiling hot or freezing cold (same for everyone we were with). Biggest disappointment was no outside space. I wouldn't recommend to stay here, even if the location is good.
