Clean rooms and nice breakfast. The only downside was the excessive use of either a strong smelling cleaning agent or air freshener.
I felt that it was too strong for me.

It was not easy to find a hotel with family room. Most other hotels offer suites meaning they have separate bedrooms.
We love family room! The whole family can watch TV together. Very thankful to Christee suites hotel for this room option :)
Love the cleanliness. The service and everything was great! Food was good too! Location was convenient to city centre

Thankful to have stayed at Christee!

It was a very good experience for what we wanted/needed. A hotel very close by to Dataran Pahlawan (5 mins' walk), 10mins walk to St Francis church, 15 mins walk to Jonker/Heeren. Our room was very spacious and clean. Bed wascomfortable and bathroom large (yes there is a bath which we didn't try). Breakfast was more than sufficient in terms of variety, qualityand quantity and it was in a well-lit area beside a smallish pool. But I must really commend the hotel staff especially Taubat Khairul Nizam b Saad, the front office manager for helping us with a mechanical problem with our car. He helped me call up several mechanics who were recommended to me by relatives (they didn't work out) using his phone and in the end, recommended the mechanic who serves the hotel guests. Encik Taubat asked us the next day if the problem was solved, he offered a slightly later check-out because we had to return to the mechanic. So kind of him for going the extra mile in helping guests who are in trouble. Thanks so much Encik Taubat, we will be returning.

A little overpriced and quiet hotel

The good:
Plenty of parking space near the hotel with seemingly good security service, offered to carry my bags to the lobby, pool is small but decent, complete with gym facilities and friendly service, not overly friendly yet genuine staff, 2 cards provided for each room and strong WiFi with cold air conditioning in the room, around 20 channels including sports channel, has a bathtub and bathrobe, the bed is extremely comfortable, blackout curtains ensured a very good sleep
The bad: the deco in the lobby is a little old fashioned, check in and out is extremely slow (more than 5 minutes) and required a deposit of rm100, rooms looked expensive in the wrong areas (expensive arts and furnitures, but lacking in guests complimentary uses), the room door slams very hard and loudly, breakfast is very simple (alacarte main and buffet fruits and pastries), a little stain on the bed covers, lacking in sustainable practices, some stains on the chair in the room that is sticky
Overall, the hotel is slightly overrated and overpriced. I think it can still improve significantly to justify its price and be at par with international hotels. The hotel lift is small, looks old and smells funny, and someone knocked on the door early in the morning presumably it’s a wake up call. There were only few guests staying on a weekday, and it felt a little creepy as if all the staff’s eyes were on you. Wouldn’t want to feel like this again, will only return if there’s a significant upgrade.
