Relax Lodge, Thoddoo

Richard is an excellent host. Together with his team, our family had an excellent stay at Relax Lodge on Thoddoo island. Rooms are clean and well euipped. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the beaches. I will definitely recommend this lovely place to my friends.

Rest for the unfussy

The hotel itself is not bad, the grounds are cozy, friendly staff. But we were apparently unlucky, the occupancy rate was 10%, so we had to do everything ourselves. In 7 days - cleaning once, the linen was not changed, the towels were requested and replaced themselves. We had room 106, there was poor water run, all this the staff knows, but did not rush to correct.Waiting for breakfast - minutes 20-30, for us it was a long time, because we went early every day for diving. The staff themselves barely move, but that's a trait of all the locals, we knew it. Too bad the staff don't try, the hotel is for the fussy. For us, the important criterion is cleanliness, silence and good attitude. Great- $5 a night, although many of the Gestas have them for free.In general- vacation is very satisfied, nature, the sea, a lot of impressions.And in the diving center - Russian guys, on all issues helped.

Clean room, comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, available and regularly replenished water. Unfortunately, the bathroom smells of damp. I suggest buying trips at Gesture House because there may be problems with the guest house (the owner has a commission)

Wonderful stay...

A cozy and charming place in the center of Thoddoo island. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. I stayed 2 weeks at this place and had a great time. Met some nice and friendly people and even enjoyed a lovely fish BBQ dinner.
The lodge is 15 minutes walk to the beach and in close proximity to most restaurants. The host Ivaan is a great guy who goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and possible, always ready to help in whichever way possible.
There is a cozy outside sitting area where you can enjoy tea, coffee and just relax.
Would recommend this place for your stay in Thoddoo!!

a trip to the purest ocean and most beautiful sunsets

It's a perfect place in terms of value for money. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff and the owner. The place is clean and very conveniently located. But what stands out is overwhelming coziness that makes you feel both at home and at ease. Relax lodge is definetely worth paying a stay!
