A few meters from the beach
Basic and budget hotel just a few meters from the bikini beach of Rasdhoo. Clean and spacious room. Super friendly staff. Breakfast unvaried but correct.

This accommodation is well past its sell by date!
We stayed here reluctantly as it was part of our diving package.
Having read the poor reviews prior to booking our trip we contacted the General Manager of Drop Dive & were assured that there was a new hotel being completed by early December & that's where we would be staying. Unfortunately they didn't say which year!
The gentleman on reception seems to do everything from porter, preparing breakfast, tries to do his best at maintenance & always does his best to please.
A clean room with a reasonably comfortable bed & a functioning air conditioner are the upside, as for the rest, hot & cold running water but not at the same time & everything is just very tired.
The breakfast offering was basic & the same everyday.

For diving trip
Simple hotel, to meet what you need for a diving trip. No frills but clean. Upstairs rooms with lots of stairs.

The WORST hotel experience: SCAMMERS
The photos of the accommodation have nothing to do with the actual state of it. When we arrived at the hotel we perceived a strong smell of MOISTURE in reception, when we went up the stairs we found LEAKS and when we arrived at the room the smell of moisture was even worse, with a wall completely covered by humidities (attached photos below), reaching harmful conditions for HEALTH.
Given the state of it, we went down to reception to request a change of room but we were answered that they were all the same or worse. In response, we informed you that due to my allergy, for a health reason we were FORCED to leave the hotel. The reception boy, Toni, told us that there was no problem, that other guests had to do the same, and that he had spoken to his boss and they would return our money. Therefore, that same day we left the room and went to another hotel in excellent condition and without any humidity.
Several days have passed and the hotel refuses to return the money to us for these reasons that are totally FALSE: they mention that the humidity is all over the island because of the weather, that they offered room change but this solution was rejected, they also offered as compensation free Diving and Snorkeling Trips which was used, and they said that they paid 160USD for the transfer to reach the island and the amount was not paid but remains outstanding.”
Everything they claim is completely false and this is the reality:
1. Humidity is not all over the island the same as leaving this hotel we stayed in another and the room was great, without any humidity.
2. The room change was requested by US and the accommodation told us that all rooms had the same humidity problem or even WORSE.
3. Only one of the two people staying in the room made a single diving trip, which the accommodation offered us, and I quote, “for the inconvenience caused” and in no case “as compensation”, very different concepts.
4. The accommodation did not pay USD 160 for the trip, it only paid USD 80 (the outbound trip, since the return one is managed with the new hotel), which we paid in cash to the reception staff of the accommodation the day after leaving the hotel.
Faced with the facts narrated, we feel totally SCAMMED and do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, first for the REGRETTABLE condition of the facilities and second for the DIRE treatment received by the staff.

Does not correspond to photos
This hotel is not recommended to stay here. The rooms have all the walls filled with moisture, which is quite detrimental to health. Down the hotel stairs there are leaks. It's not nice to spend a single night here.
