Great hotel, beautiful rooms and amazing view from the rooms facing the harbour! Only downside is how hot reception and the restaurant/breakfast room are!

Accommodation failed

We arrived the 14 to the 23 July.
Our experience of RUN DOWN NO MATINTENANCE EXPERIENCE.
THE A/C didn't work blowing HOT AIR REPORTED SEVERAL TIMES ALL WE GOT WAS EXCUSES TRYING TO COVER UP .
WAS OFFERED TO MOVE ROOMS AS THE A/C HOWEVER WORKED THE SAME .
FRIDGE DIDN'T COOL .
MATTRESS WAS OVER DUE TO BE CHANGED
TAPS LEAKING CONSTANTLY.
BATHROOM SMELLS LIKE SEWER.
Breakfast Buffet was good. the only thing they refused to turn the A/C on
and while we TRYING to enjoy Breakfast we were having a sauna it was that stuffy humid .
Even staff looked hot and bothered because of the conditions.
Put it down to budget restrictions as electricity/maintenance costs money that wasn't evidently taken in consideration.
Asked for a discount on the accommodation that was refused.
The experience was not good as at night we had a constant temperature of a Humid 27 `.
We also we asked if we were not happy they were happy to refund us to go to another accommodation. Unfortunately, it's in peak times that was impossible.
We travel every year and I must admit it was the worst place i have had the pleasure of staying.
The weather was extremely hot for that time of year about 35/40`.
O by the way the only thing was location was central.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel the location was great and had a lovely view of Valletta. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were so spacious and clean I appreciate the storage there was two separate areas for me and my partner. The cool was great as it was so hot when we stayed although there were only 8 or so loungers and pool wasn’t not very big and only 1.2m deep. The breakfast was nice but was the same everyday so once you find what you like you are kind of stuck with eating same thing. I didn’t love the shadowed glass from toilet to bedroom as if you are to get up in the night the light shines through as there was only one big light to turn on. AC was amazing and overall fantastic hotel really peaceful, amazing staff and good location.

Great location right on the esplanade. Easy to get to the Ferry's and lots of restaurants right at your door step. Clean rooms. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the heat with amazing views, however not that many beds and not enough umbrella's for each row to get some shade from the sun. Ordering food to the rooftop was a little slow. The air conditioning did break during my stay and I had 2 nights without it and I had to move hotels because I was in town for work. But the staff did their best to rectify the situation and were really great when i asked for a refund.

Fantastic stay, amazing location/views

Fantastic experience, from check in through to departure…faultless.
The staff were super helpful, the location perfect for a long weekend break - the breakfast amazing, and the views…wow
100% worth the upgrade to deluxe/grand Sea View room…stunning views out over Valetta.
Roof top pool…lovely but dont expect a sun lounger and you’re unlikely to be disappointed - only counted 14, but hey, plenty more to be seeing/doing during the daytime.
