A beautiful, calming and welcoming stay in a peaceful Gozitan village
We stayed in the top-floor apartment for a week for our honeymoon, and couldn't have been happier. Booking directly through their website was straightforward, the hosts answered our questions promptly and sent helpful information before arrival. We were welcomed by Francesco who showed us around, explained the house rules and shared the names of the various cats who live on and visit the property. Our flat flat was very simply but elegantly decorated, with a comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning and access to both a private balcony and larger shared terrace (which we had to ourselves for most of the stay.) We could see the sea from both terraces - on one clear night the lights of the Southern Sicilian coast were just visible. The terrace was also an excellent spot to take advantage of the dark, clear night skies and stargaze.
Having a well-equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker and washing machine gave us flexibility over meals, and meant we could pack light and re-use our clothes - there is plenty of space on the terrace for drying laundry.
Breakfast was delicious, creative and the most generous I've ever seen at a hotel. Lots of homemade cakes and pastries, and something different everyday alongside the staples of toast, coffee, juice and homemade ghee and preserves. Having it delivered to our room and eating on the terrace was an extea delight. I'd recommend L'Aremi on the strength of the breakfast alone. On days when we had to make an early start, Francesco packed us hearty breakfast sandwiches with fruit, biscuits and juice which kept us fuelled up til well into the afternoon.
Downstairs is a very cute pool which is deep and long enough to swim a little in, but best for relaxing and cooling off in the afternoon heat. I'd have used it every day if there weren't so many beach spots to visit nearby.
Nadur is a quiet village and less tourist-focused than some parts of Gozo but this meant it was very peaceful and relaxing to explore, and locals bars and restaurants are well-priced. It's an excellent base for non-drivers as it's linked by multiple bus lines to Mgarr Harbour, Victoria and Ramla Bay. The B&B is 5-10 minutes walk to bus stops, and seemed well-served by Bolt drivers whenever we needed to use a rideshare. It was also a great spot for visiting Dahlet Qorrot beach, which is just a 35 minute walk away. Beaches in Gozo can be a little challenging to reach outside of Ramla Bay, and we felt very lucky to have this beautiful and secluded beach so close by.
Things to consider when staying here: The neighbourhood got a little noisy and dusty at times due to construction work, plus local animals (there are chickens and roosters next door) and vehicles in the street but this wasn't really a disturbance once we'd adjusted to it. The water pressure and temperature in the flat was a little wonky - we found that the cold tap was mostly lukewarm and would occasionally run unexpectedly hot, so some caution is needed when washing (cold drinking water was available from coolers on each floor.) Guest rooms are accessed via a narrow spiral staircase, which I found much easier to climb than expected but which may be a challenge to those with mobility issues. We were advised that the flat's washing machine is also used by housekeeping staff for laundry, but this must have happened while we were out in the daytime, and was never an intrusion.
Above and beyond the accommodation, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal with drinks one evening, the hosts provided really helpful advice on when and how to visit Comino (and sold us boat tickets), and at the end of our stay we were gifted with a bottle of Francesco's homegrown/homemade olive oil as a souvenir.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend L'Aremi B&B, particularly if you're looking to balance exploring the island with a good dose of rest and relaxation. Thank you so much Francesco, Giada and your lovely staff team :)

Unforgettable
An absolutely perfect stay at Laremi Bed and Breakfast in Gozo!
Francisco and Jada are amazing hosts, rare kindness, always caring and warm. It feels like home on arrival, in a family and authentic atmosphere.
We chose half board, and it was a great decision: both breakfasts and evening meals were just perfect and unforgettable. Meals full of flavors, generous and delicious, prepared with care.
A place I recommend with my eyes closed — a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Lovely B&B with warm amenable hosts
L’aremi is a lovely, rustic guesthouse in Nadur, a beautiful unspoilt village in Gozo.
The rooms:
Our room was the Poppy room with kitchenette, which was more than adequate size for two with a lovely decorated bedroom, functional kitchen/ bathroom and pretty terrace. Beside our room was also a larger terrace which was shared with the other 5 or six rooms (although we rarely saw the other guests) which had sun loungers and two dining sets. In fact, the highlight of the holiday was being served breakfast here (an advantage of booking the kitchenette) by Francesco our host.
The food:
Every breakfast was beautifully prepared with an excellent variety of home-made treats including their own clarified butter. (There were preserves, cakes, fresh fruit and pastries, and on occasion egg dishes - all lovely).
The pool, although not massive was more than adequate as deep enough to swim in to cool down in the hot afternoons. A very pretty area that added to the guesthouse’s charm.
All in all, a much needed getaway with lots of lovely food, friendly and helpful hosts (Francesco and Jiada and Giorgio the cat) and a peaceful idyllic setting. Would highly recommend.

Happy Easter Monday
Warm Happy Pasquetta , We attended for easter monday and was a delight , great food great company great live music , book this warm loving place to enjoy your time in gozo thanks to Giadda and Francesco. Highly recommended . Probably the best B&B in Gozo

Great B&B in a quiet area. (Except when the locals celebrate a saint day!!!)
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming to their B&B. The room was very clean with daily servicing. Breakfast is sensational, including a variety of Maltese style hot dishes along with bread, fruit, pastries and home made jams. A small pool is welcome on hot afternoons.
